Joy Baldwin created 2 gift card holder using the new Pretty Package die collection. Watch the video below to see how easy these holders are to put together and how much fun they are to decorate:
In the video, Joy shares two ideas for creating gift card holders with the Pretty Package dies. One in an elegant and classy pink and gold color scheme and one with a bright and colorful look.
Here’s a closer look at the Pretty Package die collection that Joy used in her video:
I’m always trying to think of creative ideas for packaging a gift card so the recipient has something fun to open! Well, now you can “wrap up” your gift cards using the new Pretty Package die collection. The “wrapping” features a pocket and pocket insert to attach the gift card to. When it’s all put together it looks like a gift topped with a tag and bow!
On the pink and gold gift card holder that joy created, she added gold embossed elements to her bow, tag, and sentiment. My favorite detail is how she used her Blender Brushes to create an ombre look on the side ribbons. It’s an easy and subtle look that takes Joy’s project up a level!
I love the bright pop of the red pennant banner die cuts that Joy added to the side of the blue gift card holder. Her colors coordinate with the actual gift card that is enclosed inside!
This Pretty Package die collection is one that will be able to customize for many different occasions. And if you were wondering, the gift card holder does fit into an A2 sized envelope for mailing.
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that Joy used to create her projects:
Here is more inspiration from the TE Creative Team using the new 12th Birthday release products…
Kavya created a pocket card with the Pretty Package dies and added festive birthday balloons and confetti to the card using the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set. Instead of a gift card, she stamped a birthday sentiment on the pocket insert for a fun, interactive element. I love how Kavya used Blender Brushes to create the rainbow blended ribbons and bow!
Latisha Yoast decorated her Pretty Package project with stenciled polka dots using the Polka Party stencil and her Blender Brushes. The tag is stamped with a sentiment from TE’s exclusive FREE set for September called Every Birthday – it’s free with any purchase of $100 or more, CLICK HERE for more information – and tied to the card with a pretty black and white gingham bow.
Annette Allen decorated her Pretty Package gift card holder with the Bokeh Layered Stencil set in all sorts of shades of pinks and Sugar Cube ink! She added a tag to her gift card holder in another shade of pink that is stamped with the ‘treat o’self’ sentiment from the new All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set (you’ll see more about that set a bit further down in this post.)
We’re excited to introduce the newest addition to the Tag Team collection: Tag Team – Birthday! Create adorable tags to celebrate all things birthday with this Cleary Crafty stamp set and the coordinating Tag Team dies. The set includes birthday sentiments along with cute birthday themed images and three pattern blocks designed to embellish the end of the tags.
I (Heather Nichols) designed the Tag Team – Birthday stamp set and I never get tired of making these quick and easy tags with them! I set up a template in my MISTI and pop the Tag Team die cuts in it to stamp the pattern blocks, sentiments, and other details. You can use the tags on their own to tie onto gifts or add them to a card like I did here! This card is a Mini Slim size that has a background stenciled with one of the stencil from the Bokeh Layered Stencil set and the sentiment is created with the On the Block – Happy stamp (+ coordinating die) and On Repeat – Birthday stamp (+ coordinating On Repeat die).
Arjita Sepaha Singh didn’t create any tags with the Tag Team – Birthday stamp set, but she used the confetti cluster image from the set to create a fun and festive background on this card featuring Millie the mouse from the Millie’s Birthday Bash stamp set. There are so many fun birthday themed images in the set that you can use on birthday cards, tags, and more! I love how Arjita inked up the confetti stamp with more than one color of ink to create a multi-colored look!
It’s not a party without favors and you can whip up a few treat boxes using the All Tucked In die and the new Clearly Crafty All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set. The birthday sentiments from the set are designed to fit on the bar in the center of the All Tucked In Windows dies and you can accent the sentiments and/or decorate your treat boxes with the cute birthday images. Use the All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set on other types of birthday projects too!
Kavya used the All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set on this cute birthday card featuring Millie the mouse from the Millie’s Birthday Bash stamp set. She stamped the confetti cluster to create a background and embossed several of the sentiments from the set in white over a blended background for a fun look under her main image on the card.
Jen Shults also created a colorful ink blended background and embossed images and sentiments from the All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set in white over the top of it. It is the perfect background for a few balloons from the Balloon Bouquet Additions stamp set. Jen finished off her design with a bit of black and white twine for balloon strings and the ‘celebrating you’ sentiment from the All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set embossed in white on an Oreo cardstock notched banner strip.
Here’s one last birthday project for this release created by Noriko Fairchild. She created a gift card holder with the Pretty Package die collection that is decorated with colorful dots that she stenciled with the Polka Party stencil and her Blender Brushes. Noriko stamped the ‘surprise!’ sentiment on the outside of her gift card holder and when the card is pulled out, the ‘happy birthday’ sentiment is revealed. Both of the sentiments are from the All Tucked In – Birthday stamp set.
Join Taylor live for “T Time” at 1pm Central today on the Taylored Expressions Facebook Page. She’ll be taking a closer look at some of the new products from TE’s 12th Birthday release and we hope to see you there – come join in on the fun!
