Now, Let’s Get Crafty!
Not sure where to begin? Our talented Creative Team has been busy turning this release into cards packed with clever techniques, unexpected product combinations, colorful inspiration, and plenty of sweet + spooky personality.
Take a closer look at their projects below and pay attention to the little details: color combinations you might not have considered, products pulled from the TE catalog, different ways to use the same design, and finishing touches that can completely transform a card.
Use their ideas as a starting point, then make them your own!
Because the best part comes after the crafting is finished: choosing someone who could use an unexpected smile, writing a little message inside, and sending your handmade Halloween surprise on its way. 💌
Let’s see what the Creative Team created!
If you love Halloween in ALL the colors, TE Creative Team member Emily Mydlowski‘s projects are packed with ideas!
Vibrant blues, pinks, purples, teals, and greens give familiar ghosts, haunted houses, witch hats, and spiderwebs an energetic makeover. She also mixes products across the release, showing how easy it is to pull individual elements together to create something completely different. Her Postmarked Halloween card is especially fun: dimensional postage pieces pop against a swarm of black bats, turning tiny Halloween images into the focal point. Don’t be afraid to move beyond traditional Halloween colors—choose a palette you love and let it guide the rest of your design!

TE Creative Team member Jen Shults creates depth without covering up all that colorful Halloween goodness!
On her ghost card, a translucent layer of vellum softens the patterned background and creates a resting place for the dimensional black cat and bold sentiment. It’s a clever technique to remember whenever you love a background but need your focal point to stand out. Her Postmarked – Spooky Season project takes the opposite approach, letting the tiny postage images fill the design before anchoring everything with a large circular Trick or Treat sentiment. Two different layouts, one great lesson: balance your backgrounds with a strong focal point and your design will shine.

TE Creative Team member Jill Hawkins proves that a few unexpected details can take a Halloween card in an entirely new direction!
Her Postmarked Halloween project combines layered postage elements with bold pops of aqua, pink, and metallic shine, then adds stitched details for extra texture and handmade character. On her haunted house card, bright ink blending creates a glowing Halloween sky while playful stitching runs right through the scene. We love how Jill embraces intentionally imperfect, artistic details like ink splattering—it’s a reminder that handmade cards don’t need perfect to be absolutely spectacular.

TE Designer Heather Nichols takes Halloween crafting beyond the card front with an adorable pair of ghost tags that would make any Halloween treat feel extra special!
Layered accessories give each ghost its own personality, while little cats, pumpkins, stars, and sentiments add plenty of character. Her coordinating card carries the fun onto a traditional card front with a colorful ghost-filled background and oversized Happy Halloween sentiment. It’s a great example of how one collection can stretch across cards, tags, treats, and more—giving you even more reasons to play with your Halloween stash.

TE Creative Team member Amy Kolling shows two very different ways to put a playful spin on Halloween!
Her colorful ghost background proves that spooky certainly doesn’t have to mean dark—soft pink, aqua, and orange create a cheerful backdrop for simple, bold sentiments. On her second project, Amy leans right into the happy-mail theme by pairing Halloween-themed postage pieces with a dimensional mailbox. It’s a great reminder to look beyond seasonal products when you’re crafting: everyday TE favorites can become the perfect supporting pieces for your Halloween designs.

TE Creative Team member Melody Rupple brings rich color and a touch of shimmer to her Halloween creations!
Her witch-hat and ghost backgrounds show how repeating smaller images can create an eye-catching pattern, while bold sentiments provide a strong focal point over all that detail. Then she gives Postmarked – Spooky Season a more elegant twist, pairing teal and green with warm metallic accents for postage pieces that practically glow against the crisp background. Whether you prefer whimsical Halloween colors or something a little more sophisticated, Melody shows just how much mileage you can get from changing your palette, layering your elements, and adding a little sparkle to the finishing touches.

TE Designer Lori Craig is thinking pink for Halloween, and we’re here for it!
Shades of purple, magenta, pink, orange, and white transform ghosts, witch hats, spiderwebs, and Halloween sentiments into projects that feel playful rather than traditionally spooky. Layered die cuts and dimensional elements add depth, while touches of sparkle make the designs feel extra festive. Lori’s projects are a perfect reminder that your color palette is one of the easiest ways to make inspiration your own. Love pink? Use pink! Halloween crafting has plenty of room for your personal style.

TE Creative Team member Deby Bauer brings Halloween storytelling to life with two scene-building projects!
A sweet ghost heads out for trick-or-treating against a starry night sky, complete with a broom, pumpkin bucket, and glowing moon, while her haunted house card embraces a dramatic monochromatic palette for an entirely different film noir look. These projects are a great example of how color can completely change the mood of your card. Build a bright, whimsical scene or limit your palette for something moodier and more dramatic—the same Halloween theme leaves plenty of room to create in your own style.
