Bloom With Happiness
I decided to participate in this week’s Inspiration Challenge on SCS (view challenge here). For the inspiration challenge you are given a picture of a piece of art, a poster, or a product or advertisement and you are to use the item for inspiration in your card design. The inspiration for this week’s challenge was a beautiful silverware chest. There was so much inspiration in this one piece, but I chose to highlight the triangle pattern on my cardfront. I got this beautiful color combo from a card that atmoicbutterfly made. I love it! 🙂
The colors are Real Red, Cool Caribbean, and Night of Navy. The background and each of the triangles is stamped with Paisley Print. I really need the new Paisley but I just can’t get it at the moment. I’m saving my pennies though because you can never have too many Paisley backgrounds, right!? I colored the dress with my aquapainter, mounted the image, stitched around it, and cut it out with scallop scissors. I tied the bow with polka dot ribbon (that matches Cool Caribbean perfectly) and attached it at the top with a glue dot. The sentiment is embossed with white diamonds embossing powder. Some of the flowers on the dress have stardust Stickles on them. Thanks for looking!
