NOEL
I’m really loving the new Big Pieces set in the Winter Mini! It’s so versatile… it can be fun, cutesy, whimsical, and even elegant. I used the stamp from Big Pieces for the “O” in noel. I added a gold brad to the center and made the O into a shaker as well. That part was a bit difficult because the frame is so tiny. I had to cut the dimensional tape into really small pieces. The rest of the word is stamped with the Letterpress Alpha. I outlined the image with gold paint pen. Then I cut a frame out of Old Olive, sponged it with Close to Cocoa ink, and outlined the frame with gold paint pen as well. I popped the frame up on dimensionals and added the holly buttons and ribbon. The paper is from the Stampin’ Up Holiday Thyme designer pack. I used the ticket corner punch and embellished the corners with gold brads. The card base is Old Olive sponged with Close to Cocoa ink. I’m taking the afternoon off work because I have so much to do I can’t even think. This afternoon will be filled with writing and addressing Christmas cards, baking cookies for a cookie exchange tomorrow night, working on a design team submission due tomorrow, finishing up those Jiffy Pop gifts for friends, and making a cupcake card for tomorrow. 🙂 Oh… and how can I forget… cooking dinner and tidying the apartment. Sounds like I might need to take more than an afternoon off! LOL! Thanks for looking and have a great day!
P.S. For those of you who have emailed me about additional Bible bookmarks, I’m working on getting back to all of you. I never imagined such a big response and I’m truly thankful for your support of my sister’s mission trip. Although she has not met her funding goal, she leaves for Honduras on Sunday! The school has given them a “loan” that they will need to repay upon returning from the trip. The proceeds from these bookmarks should help her repay most of that loan. Please say a quick prayer for her for safe travels and safety while in Honduras!
