Basic Grey Christmas
Thank you all for your get well wishes! They are much appreciated and I am feeling a bit better today as time goes by. If I could only get this faucet formerly known as MY NOSE to stop running! LOL!
I’ve been doing some freelance work for Stampendous over the past couple weeks which has forced me to get into the Christmas spirit despite the warm weather. These are a couple of Christmas cards I designed using their Doodle Noel and Doodle Joy stamps with Basic Grey Fruitcake paper. You can get all of these things at Eclectic Paperie!
I’ve read your questions regarding the craft show as well. One of the most frequently asked questions was… Do you sell your cards in sets or individually? Great question! It often takes me multiple tries before I figure out what works best and nonetheless, it always varies at every craft show! My answer to all of your questions will probably contain “what works best for me, may not work best for you!” But, I will share what I do and you can take it or leave it or tweak it to fit your situation. I have found that for occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, and other holidays, people like to purchase cards in sets as they will most likely be sending more than one. For these particular occasions I sell mostly card sets packaged in clear card boxes. If there is more than one design in the same box, I take a scan of the cards, shrink it down, and print it off in color to insert inside the clear box. By doing it this way, people don’t have to open the box and take the cards out to see them. For other occasions like baby, graduation, thank you, anniversary, wedding, etc. I sell individual cards. I package them in clear envelopes (so people don’t touch them with their hands) and display them in my spinning card rack. I will be packaging these two Christmas card designs into sets for the craft show. I’ll take pictures when they’re done!
A little note: I’m sure you’ve all seen my copyright notice in the right sidebar. I enjoy sharing my craft show experiences to help you with your craft shows! I also enjoy sharing the products I sell at my craft shows. However, I share them for your personal inspiration only. Please do not exactly copy these items and sell them at your craft show. Thanks!
