More from CHA…
I finally got around to editing some of my pictures from CHA last night! I have so much to share, but I feel like it’s old news now. Hopefully you’re still interested! 🙂 I was able to meet Vicki and Kelli from Glue Art and Paper Studio at CHA! It was so wonderful to meet them in person after communicating through email for several months. This is Vicki pictured inside their cute booth. They were set up downstairs in the new exhibitors section and there were always customers whenever I walked by. If you’re not familiar with Glue Art & Paper Studio, let me tell you a little bit about them. They carry quality unfinished wood products in cute, fun, and practical shapes. They have dress forms, vertical albums in several sizes, card files, and cupcake stands. Yes…. cupcake stands! I made the one pictured here for their booth display. It was for their wedding themed vignette along with the matching vertical album and dress form… a black, white, and red themed vignette. I spray painted the cupcake stand white (and we still have the white stained grass in our backyard to prove it…oops!). I purchased wired black and white polka dot ribbon from Michael’s and gathered it about every five inches. I used glue dots to adhere it to the cupcake stand and then added red Primas and rhinestones to each of the gathered portions. Vicki and Kelli set chocolate truffles on it for the show, but I think this stand has cupcakes in its future! This is one of the pretty dress forms that Vicki designed and also a card file album. There are so many possibilities with those card files. And they come in several sizes too! Vicki found a very old book about etiquette, hygiene, etc. It was called “How to be Popular”! LOL! She made the adorable 3×3 vertical album and placecard holder with important reminders from the book. I got such a kick out of the shower, deodorant, teeth brushed everyday. And colors blended, accessories right posture perfect. Don’t skip over #5… it is quite important to have clean underclothes if you want to be popular! While I do have clean underclothes on today I am far from the bed made, room straightened, accessories right, perfect posture kinda gal! LOL! You can check out all of the Glue Art & Paper Studio products on their website How Do You Glue. If you’re interested in purchasing Glue Art products, you can find them at Doodliedoo! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
