Happy Monday, crafty friends! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start!
In March we launched a new Share Joy campaign dedicated to providing our local hospital with Thinking of You cards for their bereavement ministry. Our goal was to provide them with 600 cards that would be sent to grieving families. After 4 weeks we had received less than 400 cards and we were a little anxious that we might not reach our goal. So on April 20th we sent out another call to help reach our Share Joy campaign goal, and, WOW, did you ever respond!
Over the final 3 weeks of the campaign, you not only helped us reach our goal of 600 cards, you more than tripled the goal! Altogether, 1944 cards were donated by caring, crafty people all over the world! That is so amazing!
A huge thank you goes out to each person who made a card donation to our Share Joy – Thinking of You campaign. Over the next several months, hundreds of families will receive an encouraging, handmade card as a result of your caring creativity and generosity. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many people!
On top of celebrating the impact your cards will have, we are giving away bundles of TE items to three lucky people who donated to our Share Joy campaign. Each donation postmarked by May 8th was entered into our drawing, and the three names have just been drawn. The winners of our Share Joy prize bundles are:
