So Very Grateful
Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! As of the writing of this post (it’s still Tuesday), we do not yet have a new President. While we hold our breaths waiting for the results to come in, we thought we’d take a moment to share a card from designer Shannon White that reminds us that no matter what the future holds, we should always be grateful for what we have. Good health, family, friends, and all of our wonderful fans. Check out her wonderful card…
A note from Shannon: I have really been having lots of fun lately just rolling up my sleeves and getting old fashioned inky! And since I needed a few extra Thanksgiving cards for those last minute additions to the “Holiday Card List,” I thought it was the perfect opportunity to dig out TE’s Darling Peek-A-Boo Pumpkins stamp set and get creative with TE Premium Dye Inks, too. And to showcase them, I chose the Peek-A-Boo Circles Die and embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder that I had first inked up with Sugar Cube Pigment ink. I adhered them with a bit of foam tape onto my soft and simple card background created with Sugar Cube and Toffee Cardstock. And to finish them all up, I inked the edges with a bit of Sugar Cube Pigment ink and stamped a Peek-A-Boo Pumpkins sentiment directly onto my card bases with Sweet Basil Premium Dye ink.
Here’s a peek at the trio of cards Shannon made to have on hand. Below, catch a close-up of her darling project!
Thank you, Shannon, for sharing such great tips on how to create this sweet and appreciative card! For more of her work, visit her blog, Enchanted Ladybug Creations. What are you thankful for today and every day? Whatever it is, we hope your life is filled with joy!
