Let’s Make Beautiful Things
It’s Hump Day, crafty friends! I was holed up in my craft space for a few days creating things for others people (my favorite thing to do) when I came across this project from designer Shannon White. She reminded me that, sometimes, it’s okay to create something for yourself! I can’t wait to share her fun project with you. I think you’ll agree that it may just be time for a little ‘me’ time for you, too! Check it out…
A Note from Shannon…
I am forever making little handmade note pads or sticky note holders to give away to friends and co-workers. Then, I realized that I’d sure like to have one for my crafty room myself! So I indulged!
It’s just like making a sticky note note holder (I was inspired by this helpful tutorial.) I just changed the dimensions to fit a larger note pad ( 10 1/2″ x 6 1/2” Score at 4 1/2” – 5” – 5 1/2” ). And to top it off, I embossed the A Life She Loved sentiment with Sugar Cube Matched Premium ink and white embossing powder onto layered Stitched Ovals Stacklets die-cuts and topped it all off with a few darling Bloomers 3 die-cut flowers created with Salt Water Taffy, Potato Chip, Sugar Cube and Granny Smith cardstock.
Isn’t this the cutest idea? I love this especially because I know that Shannon matched it to her craft room decor! I know that I’m going be making one of these for myself, too. It’s the perfect cozy craft to do. Thank you, Shannon, for sharing!
Won’t you be sure to come back tomorrow? If you know a guy who would love a card on Dad’s day, I’ve got a couple awesome projects to share. Have a joyful day!
