Christmas In July — Ready, Set, Snow!
Happy Tuesday, crafty peeps! Right about now, during this time of year, I find myself pining for Christmas. So I thought it would be fun to share some super fun Christmas and Winter projects from our awesome design team to help get me through. Today, I’ve got a darling card from Shelly Mercado to share with you. Check it out…
Notes from Shelly…
Are we ready for winter yet? I love winter scenes with backgrounds that pop. I stamped my image from Ready, Set, Snow and used Copics to color and to create a wintery background. I stamped Snow Day Background onto Sugar Cube cardstock and then die cut Stitched Rectangle Stacklets in different sizes. It was fun using the different sizes to create the background.
This snowman looks nice and cozy with his scarf inside of the snow globe!
I used the Woodgrain Background stamp to create the base of the Snow Globe, sponging a little Chocolate Truffle to add some depth. I stamped the sentiment on top and embossed in white.
Thank you so much, Shelly, for sharing such a cute winter card with us! You’ve got me dreaming of snow. Come back tomorrow for more Christmas in July and have a joyful day!
