August 2018 Release Countdown Day 2: FALL-ing for You!
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Day 2 of our release countdown and today is all about fall! It’s hard to believe that Fall will be upon us soon! I love the crisp air, the scents of the season, the change of the leaves – but I’ll admit that I dread the season that follows Fall (we won’t even speak of it now… let’s pretend it doesn’t exist so we can fully focus Fall, okay?).
I’ll get to the fall beauty soon, but first I want to make sure you know about our double points promotion that extends through Sunday on purchases made at the TE webstore. Let’s start today’s sneak peeks with a card I made using the new Rustic Wreath and Words of Faith 2 stamp sets. I’ve been having so much fun playing with our new Liquid Frisket kit so I decided to try masking the wreath with Frisket and adding liquid watercolor to the background. I simply love how it turned out and it really wasn’t difficult to accomplish!
I have two more products to share with you which were designed and sized to be interchangeable with the Rustic Wreath and the Words of Faith 2 sentiments. Below you’ll see how Melody has combined the So Many Thanks stamp set with the new Falling Leaves Cutting Plate, but it’s important to note that sentiments from both sets (Words of Faith 2 & So Many Thanks) are sized to fit inside BOTH the Falling Leaves Cutting Plate AND the Rustic Wreath!
Next up, we have an addition to our popular Cutting Edge collection where the coordinating die is designed to cut only across the top of the edge of the image leaving the remained of the image connected to your cardstock panel. You saw the ghosts yesterday and today we have a fall-themed pumpkin scene. Gayatri combined the image with the new Caps Lock – Fall die to create a gorgeous eclipse card:
You may have noticed the leafy stencil along the top portion of Gayatri’s card, but Jen Shults took the full stencil for a test drive on this beautiful card along with the previously released Thanks Script:
And last, but certainly not least, a fall-themed addition to our Bubble Greetings collection. Here’s Bubble Greetings – Thankful (shown above) with a gorgeous sample by Melody Rupple (shown below) where she combined the Bubble Greetings image with our previously released Autumn Leaves background stamp:
