Hey, crafty friends! Yesterday we released three new products as part of our May Mini Release and today I’m back to share even more inspiration! Today’s featured products are monstrously cute and you’ll find one of my own “little monsters” joined me on video to help create the invitations for his upcoming birthday party. Before I get too far into the project, you should know that all the new May Mini Release products are available right now at the  Taylored Expressions webstore. Plus, we’ve dropped our free shipping threshold through the weekend!

From May 7th – 12th we’re offering FREE shipping on all orders over $50 that ship within the United States. Our shipping team is speedy fast and ready to deliver your goodies in record time!

First up is the adorable Little Monsters stamp & die combo set. This set includes two cute monsters, a few party accessories, three sentiments, and coordinating dies to cut out each of the images.

Next up, the newest addition to our Inky Fingers collection – HELLO adorable monsters! These cute little guys can be finished off with a fingerprint from the kiddos and with lots of “scary” sentiments to choose from this set can be used for birthday, love, Father’s Day, and more.

My little guy, Henry, stopped by the studio to lend his fingers for this project. Check out our crafty time in the video below!

I think Henry had fun and we managed to keep ink out of his mouth and off of his clothes so I’m calling it a victory! Plus I know the recipients of his party invitations will enjoy having a little piece of him incorporated into the design.

I mentioned in the video that the sentiment we used was one I designed specifically for his invitations and is not part of of the stamp set. If you’d like to make a similar party invitation, I’m providing the Monster Bash sentiment as a free download here on the blog.

Now we can take a closer look at the project! I started by stamping the monsters across the bottom of the page and filling in with Henry’s fingerprints. Next I stamped the Star Fall background using various mini ink pads. I ran the cardstock back through my printer to add the sentiment and then colored the party hats and larger monster with Copic markers and adhered them to the card front.

For the party details, I stamped the RSVP stamp inside and added a couple more monsters to the corners.

I’m loving how these turned out and I can’t wait for them to make their way into mailboxes very soon! I’ll also be popping back here after Henry’s party to share all the party details with you!

Our Creative Team also has projects to share with you today using the new monster sets! Make sure you take some time to stop by their blogs to see what they created to share!

Thank you so much for joining us for the May Mini Release at Taylored Expressions! We’ll be back over the next few weeks to share more projects featuring these new goodies!
