What are the base card dimensions for the Gatefold Reveal Card?!!! Please supply. Thanks.

  • Emma H

I read about stamping in a craft magazine many years ago and haven’t looked back.

  • carol

WOW! This Crafty series has certainly captured my interest, as have the cool dies! Wonderful ways to add extra zing to our cards!
My niece – when she was 2 – inspired me to begin crafting, because I wanted to send her ‘real’ cards. She’s now 9 and, whenever opportunity for visits present, we craft up a storm together!!

No one introduced me to stamping. I have always been a letter writer (handwritten) and I always wanted something to decorate my envelopes. I had seen stamps, but couldn’t afford them. On a trip to the local flea market, I found a lady selling tons of stamps and I purchased my first stamps with her. And then, I was hooked. That was almost 26 years ago.

  • Tracy

No one, actually. I decided to make my own Xmas cards one year and started searching online for photos and info. After that, I was hooked.

  • Heather Mills

These products are all so fun!!! My friend, Sam, got me into stamping many moons ago. She was an SU! demonstrator and invited me to a party. So, I’ll blame her for my crafty obsession, though really, I only have myself to blame!! : )

  • Barbara Tennigkeit

I have only myself to blame for starting paper crafting. Scrapbooking was always on my bucket list and started with pair of scissors and stickers. I have learned so much and own a stash of supplies

  • Nancy M.

I would say that my daughter introduced me to stamping, when she was born! I was looking for a way to create her birth announcements and landed in the rubber stamp aisle Of the craft store. I’ve been there ever since LOL.

  • PAULA HYMEL

I have a group of about 10 friends come to my home monthly and we create! All day long! We share ideas, projects, techniques and products! I can’t wait to show them what I buy this month!!!

  • Jana Moulton

My friend Becky introduced me to scrapbooking. I have been hooked every since.

  • Ruth Dupchen

I was in a craft store and they were having a free demonstration on stamping. I had no idea what stamping was all about so I watched and I was fascinated with the outcome which was very basic. I wanted to try it and they let each one of us try. All we did was stamp a tiny image with black ink and color it with color pencils. They also said that they would be starting a free weekly class were you would get 10% off any thing that they used in the class that week. Only 5 people joined this class in the beginning and although new people came and left as time went on, the original 5 people stayed for many years.

  • Vivian C.

My sister introduced me to stamping and I was hooked. I have made wonderful friends through stamping and it has brought me a lot of joy. So, I am grateful to my sister.

  • Larissa Heskett

One of my moms Co workers got me into stamping when I wanted to create my own HS Graduation Invitations!! I’ve been HOOKED ever since!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the NEW Products and ALL of the AMAZING examples!!

  • Lisascreativeniche

Stamping I found on my own back in the Lisa frank days! My mother was the one who got me into crafting as a child, and I’ve always had a very crafty family.

  • Dana M

Oh what fun and happy cards! My friend Michelle is my stamping enabler – bless her for this fabulous hobby!

  • Judy Tuck

My Mom was the first person to introduce me to stamping. She would send me Christmas cards that she had created. Loving your new release, especially the new Create in Color background.

  • Cathy Y

When I was little (60+ years ago), my grandfather, great-uncle, and dad owned a neighborhood furniture store. I used to go there with my dad whenever I could. I loved the smell of the oiled wood floors. They had a blue stamp pad, and a stamp that said, “This is a non-profit business. We didn’t intend it that way”. Of course, I had no idea what that meant till I was an adult. But that’s where I first played with a stamp!

  • Leslie Sunn

I actually discovered stamping on my own about 14 years ago. I decided to make the invitations for my sister’s baby shower and it was all downhill from there 🙂 I will say Paper Crafts magazine and Nichole Heady were a big influence on me in the beginning.

  • Gail Shurbutt

My friend Janet introduced me to stamping. The cards she sent me were beautiful and I kept them on my display boards, and then often repurposed the fronts of her cards!?. This has become an incredible outlet for creativity and relaxation. I’m sure my blood pressure and stress level are chilled when I’m in my project room.

  • Jessica Monte

I starting sewing 26 year ago then a friend gave me a scrapbook when my daughter was 6 months old. I didnt want to get into it then I found I love it . Then I found stamps. I cant draw to save my life so stamping gave a my art outlet.

  • Lisa Byers

Actually, I was introduced to stamping by a video on YouTube by Lindsey Weirich about 1 1/2 year ago. I was so fascinated by every technique she did. I started watching more videos and buying a few supplies. I already started setting up a craft room but then started setting it up for card making. Now a full craft room and a trillion dollars later, I’m not a great card maker but I’m getting there.

  • shartl

My mom is the one who got me into crafting and she is still my main cheerleader! My first stamp set was a little cat themed one by All Night Media and I still have it. The first stamp I chose myself, when I was a little girl, was a Curious George as an astronaut…still have that one too! Now I stamp with my two little girls…and my mom!

  • ANGIE HOLLINS

A couple of friends introduced me to Stampin’ Up 13-14 years ago. I took a break for a while and I’m back at it and loving all the new dies, techniques, etc.

  • kathleen dumpert

My mother introduced me to crafts at an early age but we started scrapbooking when we went to a class at a local scrap store.

  • Rachel Russell

I went to a Stamping UP party at my best friends house in Conway when I was visiting at least 20 years ago. I had already had many crafts related to scrapbooking but stamping was fairly new. I was so intrigued and got some supplies, but I got frustrated with stamping because of the struggle to get “perfect” images. The MISTI changed my love for card making. I love that your products stamp so clean and crisp. I love this release with all the crafty images. I especially love those better half dies. Your products are always top notch. I have all the watercolors and eagerly await new colors!! Thanks for the sale.

  • Amy J

I was first introduced to stamping by a friend from church. What a blessing it has been!!

  • Colleen Dixon

My mom introduced me to the local scrapbook store who then introduced me to Taylored Expressions.

  • Daria Zender

I was introduced to stamping at a Stampin’ Up! party over 20 years ago – hosted by the mom of one of my daughter’s classmates. I can only blame myself for my addiction!! Great release today.

  • Dee Earnshaw

awesome new sets – would love the chance of winning:)
I have always been interested in arts and crafts and did not really have to be motivated to further my interests – lol!!

  • Michelle Woodrum

Who’s to blame, HaHa. It would of been my neighbor at the time and friend Jill. She use to sell Stamping Up. It has been over 23 years. Wow a lot of crafting and supplies since then.

  • Juleen H.

My dear friend Nancy M. introduced me to the cardmaking and stamping world about 5 years ago! My name is Juleen and I am an addict!

  • Nicki T

My sister originally got me into stamping and scrapbooking a little over 20 years ago, which then turned into card making!

  • Julie B.

20+ years ago and friend and coworker, Mary, invited me to a “stamp party” at her house. I thought it was postage stamps :). I went to the party and was hooked and have been expanding on this craft ever since. I have friends who love crafting and have gotten my mom into card making as well. It has become a social experience for me as well as a personal hobby.

  • Lynda White

I can’t remember exactly – it was in the early 2000s. I think I began with a class at a local scrapbook store, which is now extinct of course. I know what made me curious about stamping – it was the embossing! I thought it was fantastic how you could make something stamped look so shiny & professional-looking. It’s a technique that I use on every card I make still.

  • Anna Swanson

About 20 years ago, my daughter invited me to a Stampin’ Up! party where I stamped my very first card using that really cute teddy bear image. I was instantly hooked and have enjoyed collecting supplies and crafting ever since.

  • Linda Mazzola

My introduction was two-fold. First, my kids are much more creative and naturally talented than I so we always kept well stocked on art supplies, especially during the summer. I played along. Much later, as an adult, I was in a boring meeting and someone had a stamp catalog. I ordered and the rest is history. Making cards makes me feel creative and I have been following Heather for many years.

  • Becca Yahrling

I actually introduced myself to stamping. I went to a craft show with my Mom and I first got into scrapbooking, then it just evolved into stamping from there. I used to make all kinds of crafty things and gave so many gifts! I’m loving all the new crafty items being released. So fun!!

  • Mary

Many, many years ago, I was in a Women of Today group and at one meeting, someone came and introduced stamping-to emboss, we used a mug warmer for heat! Only wooden stamps were available at that time. LOL We have come a LOOOONG way since then! 🙂

  • Diane Anthony

My sister introduced me to stamping and from there we both ventured into scrapbooking. One of our favorite things is to get together and craft! There aren’t enough hours in the day to create what I have floating around in my head. Maybe when I retire from teaching?

  • Mary-Anne V

So excited to see this new release especially the interactive gatefold die. My friend Meena introduced me to the world of paper crafts in 2000.

  • Beverly Perdue

My friend, Mary, was responsible for my card making. She made Hallmark cards on the computer and decided to create her own. I had lots of scrapbook supplies and decided to give it a try too. The rest is history and now my craft room is full of crafting goodies! I love card making and I have introduced several other friends to card making as well. Love the gatefold and reveal — very clever and easy!!

  • Rosemary

My daughter, in the early 1990s, took me to a store with some beautiful stamps. She wanted a special stamp she really liked. I think it was a rose. At that time I had 4 young kids and worked full time so I didn’t really get into stamping until I retired. Now every time I mail a happy card to someone I think of my Mom or Dad and wonder if they would have liked my cards. One always has to stop and smell the roses along the way instead of getting too busy.

  • Chris L

My intro to stamping was from a fellow mom in my child’s playgroup. She said you gotta come and check out these classes–and I was hooked!

So excited to see all the new items!

  • Rebecca Ednie

Actually I’m responsible! I was on a field trip in grade school, I was maybe 10, and in the gift shop they had name stamps. My name is (was) unusual and never available on personalized items. So I was thrilled to see my name. After that, I bought stamps from Inkadinkadoo. Waiting on hold they’d play that song. I stopped stamping in high school and college but started up again when my son was small. I still had (and still have) the old stamps but now so many more ink colours were available. And Versamark! I was in love.

  • Leanne S

My mum is responsible for my adiction to crafting which I’ve been doing as a kid. I was introduced to stamping after I joined blogger in 2010.

  • Linda Decker

I was invited to a Stampin’ up party some 20 years ago. We formed a stamp club. We would meet once a month at the demonstrator’s home to stamp, learn new techniques and exchange ideas and cards. I am one of the few who still stamps. Stamping is my happy place.

  • karenladd

I got into stamping in a big way after I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party about 15 years ago but I had dabbled a little bit before that. I’ve crafted all my life, and my mom was responsible for putting me on the crafty train! As for who keeps me craft addicted…that would probably be my daughter and granddaughters who always love what I make. My granddaughters love to spend time stamping and making cards with me..and are my favorite craft companions!

  • karenajo

I was invited to a scrapbooking party more than 10 years ago by a friend. I saw heat embossing for the first time and was immediately hooked!

  • Janet Sisk

I worked with a teacher who wanted to introduce his wife to some of his coworkers at our school. His wife was a consultant with Stampin’ Up. He asked me if I would help her out by hosting a workshop. I said “sure, but just so you know I am NOT crafty.” LOL Well, I hosted her card workshop and was hooked. That was way back in 2001! Let’s just say the rest is history. 😀

  • Carol W.

That’s an easy question! Without a doubt, 100% my bestie, Leslie Vanhorn! She sent me a stamped card over 10 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since!! ?

  • Erica Loscalzo

Some one but my first stamp in 2001 then I start stamping

  • Debbie Nelson

I dabbled here and there on my own for many years with no guidance or direction, but 4 years ago, Dawn, Colleen, and Sue really got me interested. They all have a completely different style, but their enthusiasm for the craft is contagious. Love the June release products!

  • Stampfoldandrepeat (Jeanie)

Love Jill’s messy desk card and Angelica’s pencils look so real!!! My friend Dianne introduced me and I’ve never looked back 🙂

  • Kathy D.

I guess you could say …” necessity is the mother of invention”. After a rough patch, I could not afford to buy Christmas cards years ago, so w/ the help of Pinterest & a few cardmaking you tube videos I was able to create cards for close friends with a minimal amount of supplies…I was hooked!

  • Lee

My mom introduced me to stamping and scrapbooking! I really enjoyed it with her and now that she has passed on when I do craft it brings me great joy thinking of all the good times we had creating! I love the post – so many new ideas !!

  • Anne Sturgeon

I have always loved all crafts since I helped my Mother with her cub scout troop .A co-worker hosted a Stamp in Up catalog party about 18 years ago and I was hooked. Loving your sneak peeks. I am a messy card maker. It’s just part of the process…

  • Deb F

I dabbled in some stamping in the mid-1990’s when I made my new address cards. I was really introduced stamping a couple of years later when a colleague invited me to attend “stamp camp”. Stamp camp is run by a local rubber stamping club and occurs in July – to work on your Christmas cards. I joined the club that fall and have never looked back.

  • Claudia Piegdon

My friend and coworker Cindy got me hooked on stamping about 22 years ago. I still love it to this day!

  • Carla Hundley

    Lots of great new goodies
    here. I found stamping by
myself back in the mid 80’s.
    I have introduced my mom,
    sister’s and niece’s to stamping
    now though.
    Carla from Utah

  • Nancy Dempsey

My friend Peggy owned a scrapbook/stamp store and I blame her for getting me hooked. I was already scrap booking and thought I would try a stamping class. Everyone was so helpful and encouraging and I made some great friends that evening. Many years and quite a few $$$ later, I’m still at it!

  • Denise Ward

A friend who was a scrapbooking buddy invited me to her house to stamp. I didn’t like it initially, but then–BAM–I got hooked. Now when I look at anything, I compare its color to ink color I think it matches! LOL. I daydream about cards to make the way I used to dream about page layouts! ??

  • Lynn T

My mom! She gave me the cutest set of homemade cards for Christmas about 25 years ago, and I was hooked! Love the craft and meeting others who share the same passion.

  • Amanda rutter

My friend Helen Peterson of blue earth got me into stamping and I’ve loved it since I was 18 and now 21 years later I love it even more?

  • Stacy H.

My Mom was my inspiration for crafting. From as far back as I can remember, she was always in the middle of some kind of DIY project, before DIY was even a thing. She introduced me to sewing, knitting, crochet, macrame, cross-stitch, rubber stamps, painting, and more.

  • Amy Cooley

I was first introduced to the world of crafting through a friend at work. She invited me to a Creative Memories class in her home. I no longer scrapbook, but it was definitely the gateway to cardmaking.

  • Connie G

I met a SU demonstrator ar a craft fair and was invited to a stamp camp at her home and I was immediately hooked. I loved your video today. Those dies are super fun!

  • Teresa Mikalouski

My sister is to blame for my addiction. She started me scrapbooking when my first niece was born. By the time the second one came pictures were not as quick to arrive for the scrapbooks so I started making cards. It’s my therapy.

  • Susan Weida

I hold my Mom totally responsable!! She got me addicted nearly 20 years ago and I was her supplier for over half of those years. Now we encourage each other. It’s great doing what you love with your Mom!

  • Meghan Kennihan

My twin sister and I were always into crafting since I can remember, I’m sure my mom bought us craft kits as kids but when we got into high school we got a job at a local craft store and took it to the next level. Starting with scrapbooking and then onto cardmaking and stamping! I spent my entire early adulthood working at craft stores!

  • Cindi Hickey

About 25 years ago my friend invited me to a card making class she hosted. I can only blame myself for the addiction. Whenever I need a break, paper crafting is my destination.

  • KathyJH

My sister introduced me to the world of stamping. She called me one day many years ago and asked if I knew about a stamp convention in Cincinnati called Stampaway. I hadn’t heard of it – she came and we went. I have been going to Stampaway ever since. That was 22 years ago!
Love all of the products today! Especially love the gatefold die and better half cutting dies! Your DT did a great job!

  • Susan

It’s been so long that it’s hard to remember but I think I got started at a Stampin Up home party many years ago.

  • Cyndi Morris

Love this first sneak peak and your examples are fantastic. I can’t credit a friend or family member for introducing me to stamping. Since I was a little girl I’ve always loved crafting. Many years ago when we first got cable TV there was a woman on HGTV who had a craft program. Her name was Carol Duvall and she had guests every day demonstrating different crafts (including a very young Tim Holtz!). I was hooked on stamping and cardmaking and haven’t slowed down since.

  • Jean Marmo

I don’t remember exactly how I got started stamping. I have been scrapping for a long time starting back when it involved cardstock and stickers. Over time, i have added supplies including stamps and branched into card making.

  • Cammy W

Stamping was a springboard from scrapbooking. My husband’s college friend’s wife introduced me to Stampin Up, which is where the stamping love all began.

  • Dawn Sheridan

About 25 years ago my co-worker Cathy invited me to a stampin up party and I fell in love with stamping!

  • Laura P

My friend Stephanie got me hooked with card making in the mid 90’s. We would drive all over looking for stamps that went together because every thing was sold individually and most stores just carried a small amount. It took forever to build up a collection! But I got my first rubber stamp as a Xmas gift in the mid 80’s. It was a kitten Hero Arts wood block stamp. It is seriously stained blue because that is the only ink pad I had : )

  • Linda Sodano

My friend Carole invited me to a Stampin Up demonstration at her house in 2004 and the rest is history! It opened up a world of possibilities to me and I get enjoyment from this hobby every day!

  • Kim K.

Love all those crafty sentiments – it is the stuff that makes me and my crafty friends laugh right out loud!! As always, such great products. Someone in the office brought in a catalog. I drooled over it, but didn’t have a clue what to do with them. My Grandmother and her sisters were a crafty bunch … I loved to be with them. The craft-gene may have skipped a generation, but it feel hard with me.

  • Barb G.

Two former co-workers, JoEllen and Joyce, initially got me into scrapbooking. I made a few scrapbooks, but then I discovered cardmaking at a local store. I was hooked! I enjoyed the creativity of cards and the fact that I could use them. I also like the fact that cards are much faster to produce, since patience is not one of my virtues! And I love Taylored Expressions products–the designs are great and so is the product quality!

  • LizD

Can’t wait to get my hands on this crafty release. So much fun waiting to be had. My sister and I found stamping together through a mutual friend who had a stampin up party

  • Victoria J Lundstrom

Love all the ideas and the instructions. Can’t wait to have it available

  • Karen Page

Best release EVER! Can’t wait to send my bestie some of these sentiments… especially the “actually mailed” sentiment!!! I’m sitting here looking at her Easter card 😉 Thankfully she is very understanding! I’m an anomaly in that I didn’t have a crafty or artistic influence in my life. I only got hooked when I decided to scrap pictures from my honeymoon. I was thinking of something like just slapping them in a book, but when I got to the store and saw all the embellishments and papers I was totally hooked! I scraped for years after my son was born but never understood the interest in stamps until I tried over Jennifer McGuire. She had a video for a technique I wanted to use on a scrapbook page, and she is solely responsible for turning me into a card maker. And now, I am broke all the time 😀

  • Tina E.

A friend got me interested in scrapbooking after my first child was born in 1996. Every time I was invited to a stamping event, I had a great time but always thought, that’s gonna be a big black hole that I don’t want to jump into. Then my sisters started stamping in the early 2000’s. I jumped into the black hole. And it has been AWESOME! Love your products!

  • Gilda

Love all of the fabulous ideas today. I always was a crafter due to my mother’s talents. My daughter bought a stamp for me in 1995 and that was the start of a collection that I can’t even count.

  • Terrie D.

These cards are wonderful! I just love the new products, especially the gatefold reveal die Hey, Crafty Friend stamp set. 🙂 I think I mostly got into stamping by myself. I do have some friends who have had some stamping & crafting get togethers, but I really got into stamping after finding Jennifer McGuire’s blog and videos. Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Debra Bridgewater

My grandmother crafted and sewed all the time and I just got hooked on all crafts from her

  • Rita

I think it was a SU demonstrator who really got me into stamping! I love the fact that you are going to offer some clear stamps!

  • Maggie Ludwig

My dear friend and neighbor, Amy Murray, is the craftiest person I know. I moved here from Illinois and was non-crafty. I loved all the things Amy made. She introduced me to Make n Takes and I got hooked!

  • Cindy Gaulke

The women in my family are all very crafty/artistic, all in individual ways. I was introduced to stamping after purchasing a Circut Explore. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to use the machine and how to make cards, which gave me the stamping bug!

  • Carol Bates

My friend Jamie got me interested. It was too funny because we would order the same things because we both loved the same items and couldn’t wait long enough to share.

  • Janet Christensen

The mom of my daughter’s friend got me started in scrapbooking, then stamping on my pages, and now I’ve moved on to card making. I’m guessing it’s been 25 years but my stamping then is nothing like the stamping I do now.

  • Beth KS

My mom introduced me to stamping….and sewing…and nearly all the other crafty stuff I do. She’s gone now, but she left me with her stamping stuff and her fabric stash, so every time I pull something out that was hers it makes me smile 🙂

  • Georgia Henson

I think I got myself into this hobby. I always loved to send cards and remember friends’ birthdays and milestones. I used to spend hours at the Hallmark store trying to pick out the perfect card for each recipient. Then a craft store opened in my area and it seemed like the options were endless. Then I started spending my shopping time in the stamp and die aisle instead. I don’t really have friends that I craft with, so I enjoy the Fans of Taylored Expressions and your website for inspiration. I buy my nieces craft supplies for Christmas, so maybe I’ll get a crafty buddy that way. 🙂

  • Carrie W

I have always to create – and this new release is my life!! Love it!! I can thank (is that the right word??) Kim Whitehouse for my obsession with stamping. We “peeps” get together on a very regular basis to practice our obsession together! Thanks for helping keep our obsession going!

  • Isabel Z

My sister-in-law invited me to a stamping party shortly after I had my middle child. I was sleep deprived and in no mood to attend especially because she didn’t live nearby. She insisted and I am glad that she did because I fell in love with stamping and have been doing it for 21 years now.

  • Jan Mancini

I used to love to draw, color and paint and was always interested in shows about such when I stumbled on Dee Gruenig on The Carol Duvall Show back in 2005 and was hooked! To this day I will only use bright, vibrant colors on my projects. No pastels for me! So this release will be right up my alley! Love it!

  • Jennifer Petersen

Fabulous first day to kick off the release! I love your bright colors and the fun design for the gate fold card! The person who introduced me to stamping was a friend of mine in the neighborhood. She held a little card making class at her house and I enjoyed it so much I was hooked.

  • Pam S

My friend from church, Kristie, invited me to join their scrapbooking group. Then when a local small craft store moved into our area we all started cardmaking and the rest is history! Love my Peeps!

  • Susan Engblom

I started making cards in the early 90’s. A friend at church used to donate a basket of cards every year for an auction. I could never bid high enough to win. So I begged her to have a class, and have been crafting ever since. Even though we don’t live in the same town now, I still get to see her, and she has even had classes at my house for my friends. God bless her!

  • LeaAnn Carlson

My mom has always been my creative inspiration! She was a huge crafter, a master seamstress, a DYI person before it was named or became so cool to be one! in 1998 a stamp store opened in our little town. Mom had me help make her Christmas cards with supplies bought from there. This was the beginning of my love for rubber stamping, coloring and making cards! 21 years later I am still loving it! And TE is my all time favorite stamp company when it comes to adding to my collection!! Love the new Gatefold dies…..and everything else ! 🙂

  • Daisy

My entire family was always very creative but a sis in law introduced me to card making. So sad that she no longer enjoys it but I certainly do! Introduced card making to my disabled sister – has been a life saver for her.

  • Noreen

So many cute, fun ideas! I love all the cards! I have crafted for as long as I can remember. My Grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 9 or 10, and I was always making things when I was a kid.

  • Chris DuBois

My friend Connie is definitely responsible for this addiction! Boy is she going to love getting cards from this cute release.

  • Evelyn

My friend Bari introduced me and several friends to cardmaking. She doesn’t really do it, but the rest of us are hooked and have been stamping together for probably close to 20 years now!

  • Bunny

Martha Stewart. I watched her make an envelope on TV one day. It looked so pretty. I wasn’t really aware of the stamping world until I dug deeper. I then took notice and by the time I started stamping all of the local stores that I never really knew about were closing down. I do wish I had known about stamping earlier. I do love card making. It’s been so much fun and enjoyment not just for me but for my family and friends who are the recipients of most of my projects. Thanks, Martha. You enabler, you!

  • Trina

I asked a friend about her handmade card at a baby shower, then she invited me to her SU! party and the rest was history!
Love the sneak peeks. Beautiful cards.

  • Julia D.

I can already tell my bank account is going to be in trouble with this release! LOVE ROYGBIV, too! The designers all did such a great job showcasing the new products. I’m going to blame my mom for encouraging me to be generally crafty and card blogs online for my addiction to making cards and stamping. Thank you for the chance to win!

  • Susan B.

I have always loved to knit/sew/crochet/embroider, etc. BUT never into paper crafts till my friend, Donna, tried to get me to go to a card class with her. But I kept saying no. We have been friends since 6th grade and she finally roped me in…so now I am so hooked and totally love it! only thing wish I hadn’t been so stubborn when she first tried to get me to go!! Just think how much fun I have missed!!

  • Susan B.

  • Denise Bryant

Awesome new items! Love the samples!
My friend, Joan, invited me to a home party for a stamp company. That was back in 1986! I was hooked!

  • Robin P

My grandma shared her love of crafting with me as a child and haven’t stopped since. I hope I can do the same for my grandchildren some day. I was introduced to stamping by watching a webisode on a craft website about 7 years ago.

  • Barbara Shook

MANY years ago, a coworker of my husband invited me to a Stampin Up home party. As they say, the rest is history!

  • Angie VC

My friend Andrea helped foster my obsession! I have not heard from her for years but I continue to learn more and more since that initial time…

  • Donna Kay

My friend got me starting on scrapbooking and that turned into a love of card making, but my mother was very creative, she loved to crocheting and sewing. I love all the crafting stamps in this release.

  • Allison

    Oh my goodness! So cute!
I first got the crafty bug from my friend Linda who took me to a “make and take” at her sister in law’s house. I’ve been hooked on card making ever since!

  • Carri Daugherty

It was my friend Amy. she had a CTMH catalog, I was a Creative Memories girl. I had never seen anything like it. I was hooked on stamping from that moment on!

  • Mel H

My mom was the one who inspired me to get into crafting, but I really did love to craft before that. She’s the one that pushed me into scrapbooking and card making, and I’ve been at it ever since. I miss her…she’s been gone now for seven years.

  • Valerie Ward

Oh my gosh I love it ALL!! I got introduced to stamping when I started a fun little part-time job at Archiver’s about 8 years ago!

  • Kimberly Cook

I was scrapbooking before I started stamping and cardmaking. I was working at a local scrapbook store and was scraping at an employee crop when I saw one of my coworkers stamp on her page. At that moment I was hooked. Today, I’m in love with the small projects and cards that I don’t scrap as much. But my love for all of it is there. Sparkle some glitter on my day!

  • Becky Jones

Unfortunately I don’t remember who got me started stamping but I love it and I LOVE all the crafty stamps and accessories you have created! I want it all!

  • stampinggrandma

Looks like it will be a fun release! I had to friends that introduced me to SU & then CTMH over 25 years ago.

  • Jennifer R

I was a scrapbooker for years before I started stamping/cardmaking. One of the “friends” I met on line (who lived in the same town as me) through a message board was hosting a Christmas card workshop. We made some cards and she hooked me on stamping/cardmaking. Now I mainly make cards and stamp instead of scrapbooking as it’s way quicker to see the end result!

  • Karen W.

My friend Melynda! Even though we now live states apart, we still text about sales, new products, etc!

  • Mary Ridgway

Who got me into Stamping? GOD did, I needed something happy to pull me out of a deep depression and God sent me my forever friend Becky Foley who has taught me so much and introduced me to “Taylored Expressions”!!!!

  • Cheri

Truly my daughter Ann was a stamper probably 20 years ago. She made wedding invitations, RSVP, and thank you cards as wedding gifts for friends. I was asked to “come help” on several occasions to meet the deadline! My job was usually feeding one sheet of paper into the printer due to the kind of paper. I attended a few of her stamping parties, but wasn’t really hooked. I borrowed a few of her stamps a few times to make thank you cards, simply stamped “thank you”. BUT, after we started going to AZ my neighbor Margie was President of the Paper Craft Group, and invited me to come along, so I did, and that’s when I was hooked! I bought the very basics as far as glue, a cutter, a Big Shot. When I came home that Spring, I discovered Taylored Expressions! Oh my! Then I was truly enthralled! So it began! So it is continuing. . . and so much fun! Sadly, I can’t have it all! ? But, I would certainly welcome a gift card towards some of these new release items! Must get my water colors up to date with that discount!

I started with scrapbooking materials. Then Archivers opened in Appleton, Wi (and has since sadly closed). But that was where I learned to love card making. Unfortunately most really good craft stores have closed, but thankfully with all the videos etc. it is a bit easier now to buy online. I only have two go to companies and yours is my first. I am afraid to add another company I can’t afford that. Ha ha

  • Diane B

My local scrapbook store – I was (still am) into scrapbooking first but everytime I went to the store they had such beautiful stamping displays so I bought a couple – well that has turned into a minor addiction !!!

  • Avra N Williams

Good question! I kind of morphed from a scrapbooker to a stamper and cardmaker along with two of my friends who did the same. Someone invited me to a CTMH party years ago; I think that started it.

  • Arianna Barbara

    Awww!!! Beautiful products!!!
A friend of mine introduced me to stamping 5 years ago. It was love at first sight!!!

  • Chanda Mullen

Though I’ve never met her, Jen Shults is responsible for my stamping addiction! I was interested in learning how to use some Distress Markers and watched one of her uTube videos where she used a TE stamp, and the adventure began!

I definitely credit my father with giving me the crafty addiction gene – he started painting with acrylics at age 60, now hosts an art club at his local Senior Center, and has completed more than 100 beautiful paintings. ?

  • Kelsey Thomas

Loving these new products! 🙂 My mom first introduced me to stamping.

  • Cynthia Cole

A friend of mine introduced me to the fine art of stamping many years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. So yes I blame her on my addiction to card making now. I’m really loving that Create in Color Background stamp and Angelica’s card is amazing!

  • Brian Poteraj

My wife and her family caused me to get into card making. They have always made home made cards, so I naturally got into it, too. It takes me a long time to make a single card, but it makes them so happy it is worth the time and effort. And I must say, it is rewarding.

  • Martha

I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party by me friend, June McCrary. My interest exploded from there!

  • Hannah Barneson

My wonderful mom got me hooked on crafting!

  • sharon gullikson

I think that my mom, who is NOT ARTSY OR CRAFTSY did. She bought us coloring books, painting books (we added water to the pictures and magically paint appeared), we made things while camping, etc. My mom has never been into any of this herself, but wanted us to be…..and then about 20 years ago a friend invited me to her stamping home sales party, and then I REALLY GOT INTO IT.

  • Gramma Dee

That person is JACQULINE! Started our with an in home party, then happy trips to WalMart to find stamps and supplies. Then Jackie Ludlage (publisher or Creative Scrapbooker Magazine) talked me into going to a crop. I took everything I owned and it fit in one tub… (Now I would need a moving van!)

Thanks, TE for keeping the magic alive!

  • Beth Smith

My friends Bea, Denise and I were invited to a Stampin Up party about 20 years ago – we went because we felt obligated. We were all immediately hooked!

  • Amanda Bodine

My neighbor Jade introduced me to stamping. I had taken a class years before and didn’t like it. One day Jade asked me if I’d ever stamped before and I said yes and would be willing to try again. My first card was just awful, I threw it away. But, we had so much fun, I wanted to keep playing around with her stamps. My first purchase was 1 stamp, 1 set of crayola pencils and 1 ink pad. I thought that was all I’d ever need. LOL! Now I have an entire room devoted to my stamping supplies! I’m absolutely LOVING this release so far Taylor!

  • Sue Baker

I have played with stamps since I was a little girl, but using stamps creatively to make cards started when I attended my first Stampin Up workshop with a neighbor who was a consultant — and that was maybe 20 years ago. We’ve come a long way, baby, when it comes to card making with stamps!

  • Michelle Nicholas

When my husband was deployed to Iraq in 2003, another military wife invited me to a Stampin’ Up! party and I fell in love with stamping and card making right away. It was the perfect creative escape for me to fill my time with while my husband was gone. Sixteen years later and I’m still card making and have passed it on to my kids as well.

  • Judy Hodgerson

My mom always encouraged my creativity so because of her I wandered into a new store in my area and discovered stamps that were so cute and could add a lot to scrapbooks. I was hooked.

  • Karen

I think I blame my sister for introducing me to Stamping because she took a class first. I bought my first stamp, a doll stamp by PSX, to make tags for the porcelain dolls I made. My mom got me into crafting as she made Christmas decorations, sewed, and embroidered. In school we always made cards for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day but with crayons.

  • Kari Schulz

When I first started paper crafting I used my cricut and stickers and then I took a card class where they used stamps and I was completely hooked!

  • Sue D

Perfect for crafty friends. Two 4H moms introduced me to stamping when they were invited to a Stampin’ Up party and decided to invite me too.

  • Sherry

I was introduced to stamps by my wonderful friend Gail. We had already been doing scrapbooks together when we got into stamps. We get together to make cards, scrapbook or take classes on new techniques. (We get very excited over new stamps and techniques.) She’s my go-to when I am trying to figure out how to do something. But I won’t hold her responsible for my lack of self control when I buy something new (its usually a lot of somethings). That’s all on me!

  • Linda Shirley

I actually started with dry embossing and found I needed words to finish the cards. So my friend Jeanne, showed me how to stamp.

  • Mary Kay Ross

My mother was my inspiration for crafting. She had me stitching when I was a child and I loved it. During those years I used to sit and watch the Captain Kangaroo show every morning. He always had a craft shoe box and would make things on the show. I wanted one of those so badly. When I graduated from college I became a teacher. I loved coloring things for my classroom and when I quit to raise my children I felt a big void. I wasn’t crafting and I knew I was missing something. So, I found scrapbooking. That led into cardmaking and stamping. I absolutely love it!!!!
