Hey, crafty friends! It’s just over two weeks until Valentine’s Day so that means it’s definitely GO TIME for creating cards and other crafty things for the people who are special to you. I have some Valentine’s Day card inspiration to share with you today using the Flip the Script – Love stamp & die combo set.

The Flip the Script – Love stamp & die combo set features a hot air balloon image with the ‘love is in the air’ sentiment etched out of the balloon design. The set also includes the coordinating sentiment and coordinating die to cut out the stamped balloon image. Watch the video below to see how I created my project using the Flip the Script – Love set.

The ‘love is in the air’ sentiment in the Flip the Script – Love set fits perfectly into the reversed sentiment in the hot air balloon image. In the video, I share a tip on how to use the MISTI to line up your stamped images easily when you are using red rubber stamps. It’s a technique I use again and again!

The background on this card is created with the Set the Scene – Clouds stencil strips. This was my first time using these stencil strips and it definitely won’t be the last! In the video I show you how I used a stencil strip, Sugar Cube ink, and an ink blending tool to create the cloudy sky background. I used the Heart to Heart stencil, a blender brush, and Cherry Pop ink to add the hearts trickling down over the clouds.

The Banner Year – Love stamp & die combo set includes elements that are perfect finishing touches for Valentine and love themed projects. I sprinkled hearts across the card front that are die cut with the heart dies and I added the ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ sentiment to the bottom of the card with black ink.
