Alright, let’s get to my project! If you just happened upon us, then you may not realize we launched a new collection of florals earlier this week! You can check out all of the newest products HERE! Since I still had a whole pile of stamped flowers from the Bouquet Whimsy stamp set, I decided to create this bright, happy card!
I started by stamping the stems and leaves across the bottom of a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock and then added the die-cut flowers to each of the stems. Tip: Start with the largest flowers for easier visual spacing and fill in with the smallest flowers last. I popped some of the flowers up with foam squares and attached some directly to the cardstock.
Once I had all of the flowers in place, I stamped a few tiny clusters and then set my panel in my MISTI to stamp the ‘choose joy’ sentiment from the Handlettered Sentiments stamp set. I thought it was perfect to go along with these happy flowers and the theme of the #spreadjoynotgerms blog hop!
To finish it off, I adhered my very favorite Bits & Pieces – Drop Drops embellishments to some of the flower centers and also added a tiny butterfly underneath the sentiment.
Now it’s time to hop along to the next person! CLICK HERE to hop to Kristie Goulet’s #spreadjoynotgerms post! I’m so happy to have been able to take part today! Don’t forget to leave a comment to be eligible for the prize drawings!
