In today’s video I’ll be sharing one of our new Stamp & Stencil combos, Tickled Pink, and showing how it was designed to fit perfectly onto a Mini Slim card and specifically sized to fit within our Mini Slim Trifold window opening. I love the trifold cards as there’s a surprise waiting for the recipient as they open each layer of the card!

The Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil is the perfect complement for both the flamingo and the toucan and we have lots of green ink colors to make the tropical fronds blend both quick and easy. And the multi-color leaves add dimension to your project without adding layers.

When you open to the inside layer of the trifold card, the full flamingo is revealed! I went pretty simple with my design, but I’m excited to see where you take this concept. Our creative team has been busy with these products and they have some fabulous samples to share as well!

Now it’s time to take a closer look at the new products available now in the TE webstore along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team:

You saw the new Tickled Pink products in action in my video above and now here’s a closer look! The Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set features a flamingo that is sized to use on a Mini Slim card and a stencil to add color to the image using ink and blender brushes, glitter paste, and more! You can also color the flamingo image with your favorite coloring medium. The Stamp & Stencil Combo set also includes several sentiments and you can cut the flamingo image out using the coordinating Tickled Pink die.

Heather Nichols put together a Toffee Mini Slim Trifold Card featuring the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set. She stamped the flamingo on Sugar Cube cardstock, added color using the stencils with Pink Champagne and Guava inks, added sparkle to the flamingo wing with Stickles Moon Dust glitter gel sprinkled with Lollipop glitter, added details with Copic markers, and cut out the image with the coordinating die. The flamingo is added to the inside layer of the trifold card so it peeks out the windows that are cut out using the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square set. Heather added stenciling (using new stencils!) and sentiments from the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set to each layer of the card. Heather’s finishing touch is glittered hearts sprinkled throughout the card design!

I love this bright tropical flamingo Mini Slim card created by Annette Allen with the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set! Annette stenciled the color on the flamingo using Pink Champagne and Lollipop inks and added it to a very glittery background created with the new Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil (more on this stencil shortly!) She applied Glitter Grab through the stencil and then added Cookie Monster and Peapod glitters to the design, creating an ombre effect. I love that Annette created a coordinating envelope to go with her card – more on that scalloped envelope liner soon!

The Toucan Do It Stamp & Stencil Combo set features a toucan bird that is sized to use on a Mini Slim card and a stencil to add color to the image using ink and blender brushes, glitter paste, and more! You can also color the toucan image with your favorite coloring medium. The Stamp & Stencil Combo set also includes several sentiments and you can cut the toucan image out using the coordinating Toucan Do It die.

This tropical Mini Slim Trifold Card was created by Melody Rupple. She used a Sugar Cube card base and cut the windows out using the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Square set. Melody featured the toucan from the Toucan Do It Stamp & Stencil Combo set through the windows on the card that is colored using blender brushes with the included stencil along with Copic markers to add details. I love the blue green color that Melody used on the toucan and how she used coordinating ink colors to stencil the tropical leaves on her card! She added sentiments from the Toucan Do It Stamp & Stencil Combo set to the front and very inside layer of her card.

Arjita Sepaha Singh is at it again with her no-line coloring on this Mini Slim card created with the Toucan Do It Stamp & Stencil Combo set. She stamped the image with a light in tone (Sea Salt ink works great for this technique) and colored the image with watercolor paints. Arjita added details to the image on the tail and used a white gel pen to add highlights. I love the background on Arjita’s card that she created with the Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil (more on this soon!) doing a color lifting technique!

The cutest fruits around are the stars of the new Tutti Frutti stamp set (+ coordinating dies)! The set includes six different fruit images (strawberry, watermelon, pineapple, cherries, orange, and lemon) and six coordinating sentiments that will bring a whole lot of happy to your Mini Slim cards and more.

Jill Hawkins colored up the cutest pineapple from the Tutti Frutti stamp set and then made it even cuter (if that is possible?) with google eyes! She set the pineapple into the circle windows on a Mini Slim Trifold Card and I love the different backgrounds on each layer of the card that Jill stenciled in yellow, green, and pink ink colors. The windows on the trifold card are cut out using the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Circle set. Jill added a few tiny hearts around the pineapple using the Little Bits – Hearts dies and secured the trifold card closed with a bit of burlap twine.

Kavya included all of the cute fruits from the Tutti Frutti stamp set on this summery A2 sized card. Remember that so many of the products that we are releasing today can be adapted to all sizes of projects! The fruits are surrounding the Mason Jar image that Kavya made into a shaker with the coordinating dies. The shaker is filled with Snow Flurries sequins and a straw to create a fun summery beverage. Kavya added the ‘squeeze the day’ sentiment embossed in white on a Lollipop cardstock strip. One of my favorite things about Kavya’s card is how she made the cherries from the set into blueberries with a change of color!

We have two new additions to our Mini Slim stencil collection: Tropical Leaves and Wonky Dots. The stencils are sized for Mini Slim projects, but you can use them on other sizes of cards too! The Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil is perfect for adding tropical and summertime beach vibes to your cards and you’ll love the possibilities of the scattered and imperfect look of the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil that work for a wide variety of card themes.

Jill Hawkins used the Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil both on the outside and inside of this tropical Mini Slim card. The front is stenciled in blue and green ink tones and then when you open the card, the leaves are stenciled with a rainbow of ink colors! The inside of the card also features the flamingo from the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set and I love that Jill did a rainbow blend on the wing to match the rainbow leaves in the background! The flamingo is peeking out to the front of the card through a window cut out with a die from the Mini Slim Trifold Template + Dies – Hexagon set.

This tropical Mini Slim card by Annette Allen shows off the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil perfectly! Annette stenciled the dots in Oreo Ink on a Granny Smith card base to create a backdrop for the toucan image from the Toucan Do It Stamp & Stencil Combo set. She also stenciled and fussy cut out a few leaves from the Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil to tuck behind the toucan. I love the extra sparkle that Annette added by using Glitter Grab and Oreo glitter for the toucan’s body! I am sure you noticed the coordinating envelope and I am sharing more about that below.

Next up are a few new dies to step up your Mini Slim card game:

Make adorable liners for your Mini Slim envelopes with our Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner die. Simply cut patterned paper that matches your card design and adhere it with a bit of glue to make your envelopes as pretty and memorable as your cards.

Frame up your Mini Slim card designs with style using the new Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate die. With one pass through your die cut machine, cut out a pile of frames that you can use singly, stacked together, and more. You’ll love all of the possibilities and how these frames accent your designs.

Emily Mydlowski created the sweetest pair of Mini Slim cards with the Tutti Frutti stamp set and made sure her envelopes coordinated perfectly using the new Mini Slim Scalloped Envelope Liner die with patterned papers from the Playful Patterns – Bold 6×6 Paper Pack. The berry images on each card are framed with coordinating cardstock colors cut out with the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate die that are stacked together. Emily chose ‘berry’ sweet sentiments for her cards from the Tutti Frutti stamp set and the Simple Strips – Thanks stamp. I think the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil goes perfectly with the berries – the wonky dots are shaped a lot like seeds!

Noriko Fairchild came up with a creative idea for using the Mini Slim Thin Frame Cutting Plate die cuts on this summertime Mini Slim card. She set a few of the frames cut from Cookie Monster cardstock overlapping at different angles over a glittery background created with the Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil. The angled frames highlight the sentiment that Noriko put together with the Oh My Word – Hello die and the ‘summertime’ word that was clipped the ‘sweet summertime’ sentiment from the Mini Strips – Hello Summer stamp.

This group of new dies coordinate with a few of our Mini Slim products that we released earlier this year:

So many of you asked and now we are bring them to you: dies to coordinate with the Little Critters stamp set! No more fussy cutting needed to cut out all of the critters and include them in all sorts of ways on your Mini Slim cards and more!

We also are offering window frame dies to coordinate with the Mini Slim Square Window Cutting Plate die and Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate die. The Square Window Frames and Circle Window Frames dies can be layered over the windows of the cutting plate die cuts to add extra detail or you can use them on their own too!

Latisha Yoast added several of the critters from the Little Critters stamp set that are cut out with the coordinating dies into the windows of a panel cut out with the Mini Slim Square Window Cutting Plate die. Each of the openings feature a frame cut out using the Square Window Frames dies and I like how Latisha added the frame insert back into the window of the middle frame for a fun variation. The background of the card is stenciled with the Mini Slim Wonky Dots stencil and Latisha stamped the ‘peeking to say ‘hello” sentiment onto a Sugar Cube Cardstock strip that she notched the ends of using craft snips.

Mindy Eggen put together this cute pair of Mini Slim cards featuring a couple of the cute critters from the Little Critters stamp set. Both of the Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate die cut panels on the cards are stenciled with the Mini Slim Tropical Leaves stencil and I like the different variations she shows on each card: one stenciled with a rainbow of colors and one stenciled in one color tone. Mindy used different circle frame styles from the Circle Window Frames dies for each of the card and added the critters into the windows that are cut out using the Little Critters dies.

And finally for this release are a few basics for packaging and mailing out your Mini Slim cards:
