NEW Embossing Powder Colors + TE Exclusives Available NOW!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Taylor here today for another release day! I don’t know about you, but I always think of ‘heat embossing’ as the gateway into card making. I still remember being mesmerized as I watched the embossing powder turn glossy! I immediately bought everything I needed to emboss 300 thank you cards for our wedding. Well, that was 18 years ago and I haven’t stopped embossing since then! *grin* With the recent success of our reimagined Anti-Static Powder Tool (a long-time must have in my own craft room), I wanted to share both new and previously released embossing powders along with some stamps that will be perfect for those embossed elements. And to answer the question of the day… “When will the Anti-Static Powder Tool be back in stock?”… sadly I don’t know! It arrrives to port at the end of the month, but it’s anyone’s guess how long it may take to be unloaded from the ship. Best case scenario – sometime in April! You can sign up for a restock notification HERE – it’ll be worth the wait!
In the meantime, check out the new embossing powders and the fun way to create your own swatch chart with our special offer for this release!

Today’s video from Heather Nichols showcases the new Crafty Collage Background stamp and White Pearl embossing powder to create a fun set of cards that are perfect for sending to your crafty friends. Watch how the cards are created below:
In the video, Heather creates a background color blend and uses the Masking Stencils – Hearts set to highlight a sentiment on the Crafty Collage Background stamp. She shares how to use the MISTI Clear Alignment Panels to stamp the background in just the right place and embosses the background with white pearl embossing powder. The cards are finished off with a frame from the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die, sentiment strips from the Simple Strips – Crafty stamp, and Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops.
If you purchased or were gifted the TE Advent Calendar this last holiday season, you got a big sneak peek of the new White Pearl embossing powder! Now you can purchase a full sized container of this pretty, shimmery embossing powder to add a bit of sparkle and shine to your next project. Heather embossed the Crafty Collage Background with the White Pearl embossing powder over a blended background and I think you’ll agree that the look is beautiful!
The Crafty Collage Background is perfect for making cards for your crafty friends! There are so many great crafty words, sayings, and sentiments in a variety of fun fonts. I love how Heather used the smaller heart from the Masking Stencils – Hearts set to highlight the ‘crafty friends are the best!’ sentiment. She stenciled the heart in ink shades just a bit darker than the ones that she used on her main background blend, about where the sentiment would fall when she stamped the design over the top. Heather shares in the video how to stamp and line up the design perfectly by using the Clear Alignment Panels in your MISTI – make sure to check it out!
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that Heather used on her cards:
Here’s a closer look at the new products that we are releasing today along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team:
The Crafty Collage Background is the perfect background for sending your love to all your crafty friends! This stamp was originally available to earn with a qualifying purchase at our in person Stamp Joy event last fall. The background includes crafty words, sayings, and sentiments in a variety of fun fonts and will fill a vertical A2 sized card front. Use the design as an all over look or highlight your favorite sentiments.
Jill Hawkins embossed the Crafty Collage Background on Blueberry cardstock using the new Puffy White embossing powder. I love the adorable google eyed rainbow friend that she added over the top! The rainbow arcs are cut out with the Over the Rainbow die from Guava, Strawberry Milkshake, and Pineapple cardstock and the cloud is cut out with one of the Rainbow Cloud Duo dies. The final touch is a sprinkling of white Bits & Pieces – Hearts around the cloud.
Check out all of the details and layers on this crafty card created by Noriko Fairchild with the Crafty Collage Background stamp! Noriko started with a rainbow blend using her Blender Brushes, then she stamped the Diagonal Diamonds Background over the top inked up with mini ink cubes in the same rainbow colors. She stamped another layer over the top with the Twinkle Twinkle Background stamp using Sugar Cube ink and embossed the Crafty Collage Background over the top of that with black embossing powder. The design is framed in black and Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops are sprinkled throughout the design.
The Branches & Blooms stamp features an all over design with leafy branches and pretty blooms. This stamp was originally available to earn with a qualifying purchase during our Black Friday sale even last year. The botanical design will fill up an A2 card front and adds a beautiful look to your floral themed projects.
Kavya used the Branches & Blooms stamp in a few different ways on this beautiful card! The background is stamped with a tone on tone look using Oreo Ink on Poppy Seed cardstock and Kavya added an Oreo Cardstock frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die. She stamped the Branches & Blooms stamp again on Sugar Cube cardstock, colored the images with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out, and arranged them around the ‘thinking of you’ sentiment from the On Occasion stamp set (more on that stamp set below). The colored flowers and embossed sentiment really pop on the dark background!
Make a statement with sentiments for occasions throughout the year when you use the bold but beautiful sentiments from our On Occasion stamp set. This stamp set and die collection were originally available to earn as part of our Black Friday sale. Featuring a stylish serif font with extra tails and flourishes, the sentiments include: happy birthday, thinking of you, get well soon, thank you, and hello friend. Cut out the sentiments with the coordinating On Occasion die collection.
Jen Shults created a colorful set of cards with the On Occasion stamp set. The backgrounds of the cards are created with the Easy Strips – 1/2″ die from a rainbow of cardstock colors. The sentiments are embossed in white on Oreo cardstock, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the cards along with a coordinating sentiment strip. A few Bits & Pieces – Clear Drip Drops sprinkled by the sentiments complete the cards.
TE Fine Detail Embossing Powder comes in a variety of colors to add just the right amount of sparkle, shine or detail to your paper crafting projects. Our specially formulated powder offers smooth, superior coverage with no stray grains of powder, and crisply heat embosses fine lines and delicate details every time. Here’s a look at the three new embossing powder options being added to the TE collection: Cookie Monster, White Pearl, and Puffy White (a thick & chunky embossing powder).
Emily Mydlowski put all of the new embossing powders in action on this set of crafty cards! The card on the left features the White Pearl embossing powder used with the Crafty Collage Background stamp over a blended background. Emily embossed the ‘crafty friends are the best!’ sentiment with the Puffy White embossing powder and then fussy cut it out to highlight it on her card along with a few hearts cut out using the Little Bits – Hearts die. The card on the right features panel of the Crafty Collage Background embossed with the Puffy White embossing powder and along the edges you can see the background embossed with Cookie Monster embossing powder.
Melody Rupple did a few different color blend backgrounds for this pair of cards with the Crafty Collage Background stamp embossed over the top. The card on the left is embossed with the White Pearl embossing powder and the card on the right is embossed with the Puffy White embossing powder. She added a vellum heart cut out with a Heart Stacklets die to each card, sentiment strips from the Simple Strips – Crafty stamp, and a few Bits & Pieces – White Rhinestones.
