Today’s video showcasing the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit is from Emily Leiphart. Watch how Emily created this gorgeous set of three card using the kit from start to finish in the video below:

In the video, Emily gives a closer look at what’s included in the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit. She also shares the ink color combination that she used on all of her projects: Avocado, Rose Water, Salt Water Taffy, and Tropical Punch. Then, Emily shows how to foil the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus panels from the kit using her Minc machine with Champagne Deco Foil. When you stencil the eucalyptus, you can easily get different looks just by changing up which colors you use with each stencil and Emily shows a few examples of that along with how to add color to the foiled panels.

Here’s a closer look at the cards that Emily created with the kit:

For this card, Emily created a frame using the Gemstone Thin Frame Cutting Plate die cut from Tropical Punch, Avocado, and gold glitter cardstock. She added the frame to a Salt Water Taffy cardstock background, adding the ‘happiest birthday to you’ sentiment to the center of the frame. The eucalyptus is added to the top and bottom portions of the frame with foam adhesive to finish the design.

This next card features an Avocado cardstock background that is impressed with the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets die collection. The Gemstone Thin Frame Cutting Plate die is cut out from Rose Water and gold glitter cardstock and Emily added the ‘just a note’ sentiment embossed in white. The eucalyptus is added to frame with foam adhesive and the card is finished off with a few Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops.

This last card includes the foiled panel. Emily stamped the ‘thank you’ sentiment into the center of the wreath with Oreo Ink, added a strip of gold glitter cardstock down the side of the panel, and adhered it to a Tropical Punch card base.

Now, let’s take a closer look at the different elements of the kit as well as more inspiration from the TE Creative Team. Note: Most of these items are only available as part of the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit.

Create gorgeous sprays and swags of eucalyptus with the Modern Eucalyptus Layering Stencil set. The set includes four different stencils that layer to create the botanical arrangements. Use the stencils with your Blender Brushes, lining everything up perfectly with the alignment guides. You can also use the stencils to add color to the images included with the Foil it – Modern Eucalyptus panels. Cut out the stenciled designs with the Modern Eucalyptus die collection.

Noriko Fairchild used several shades of green and teal inks to stencil the eucalyptus with the Modern Eucalyptus Layering Stencil set for this card. She cut the stenciled eucalyptus out with the coordinating dies, sprinkled Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops throughout the eucalyptus, and added them to a gold foiled frame from the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus panels. I love the subtle background that Noriko added to the panel with the Wood Plank Background stamp with Sea Salt ink! The ‘just a note’ sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments stamp set is stamped with Spearmint ink in the center of the frame.

Emily Mydlowski stenciled the eucalyptus with Mint Julep, Spearmint, and Oyster inks using the Modern Eucalyptus Layering Stencil set and then added a final layer with Happy Medium – Silver Glitter. She added the eucalyptus to the bottom edge of a silver foiled frame from the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus panels and added the ‘always & forever’ sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments stamp set in the center of the frame. I love the extra touch of sparkle that Emily added to the eucalyptus with a few colors from the Tiny Diamonds – Pastel set.

Add a framed design pattern to your projects with the Foil it – Modern Eucalyptus panels. The pack features 3 designs that include the eucalyptus sprays and one design featuring just the frame that you can embellish however your wish. Add color to the eucalyptus using the Modern Eucalyptus Layering stencil set or another coloring medium. Top any of the four designs included in the package with foil and send through your Minc machine to add shimmer and shine – you can use the panels without foiling too!

Jill Hawkins foiled one of the panels from the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus pack with Turquoise Deco Foil and added color to the eucalyptus swags on the wreath using the Modern Eucalyptus Layering Stencil set. She used Mint Julep, Key Lime, and Cookie Monster inks to stencil the leaves and then added the ‘thinking of you’ sentiment stamped in the middle of the wreath. The strips of Mint Julep cardstock at the top and bottom of the card really helps the colors pop on the card – and it’s the perfect place for Jill’s signature stitching! The finishing touch is a few Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops.

Kavya used the Foil it – Modern Eucalyptus panels to create this set of cards. She left the panel un-foiled for the card on the left and foiled the panel with Lime Deco Foil for the card on the right. Both panels are colored with Copic markers with white gel pen highlights. Kavya fussy cut the wreath designs out to add onto backgrounds that she created with Piñata alcohol inks on our Alcohol Ink Cardstock.

Heather Nichols is filled a gap in her card stash by creating this trio of anniversary shaker cards with the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit. She foiled the frame using a panel from the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus pack with Bronze Deco Foil. To create the shaker, she cut out the center of the frame using a Stitched Circle Stacklets die. The ‘happy anniversary’ sentiment is stamped into the opening and the shaker is filled with Snow Flurries sequins. Heather added the stenciled eucalyptus to the frame and finished the card off with a strip stamped with the Wood Plank Background stamp to add a rustic touch.

The Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit includes 6 envelopes and 6 custom envelope seals that coordinate with the theme of the kit. The six A2 envelopes are 2 each of Sweet Basil, Avocado, and Blonde Metallic. Emily Mydlowski used one of the Modern Eucalyptus Envelope Seals as the focal point on this card. She impressed the background using the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets and encircled the envelope seal with a gold foil cardstock frame created with the Gemstone Thin Frame Cutting Plate die cut from that you will learn more about below!
