Create Unique and Trendy Cards With the NEW Modern Eucalyptus Kit!
Hey, crafty friends! It’s Heather here to share more inspiration for our new Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit! The trendy eucalyptus design is perfect to use for a number of occasions and it’s so easy to create an elegant look as well as something a more rustic flair. I am looking forward to spending more time creating with the kit to explore the possibilities!
We are excited to announce that, due to popular demand, we are making the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus panels available to purchase outside of the kit! The panels are available to purchase right now in the TE webstore.
There is a limited quantity of the kit available and once they are gone, the kit will not be available to purchase again and most of the items in the kit will not be available to purchase later. Click below to shop for the kit and then keep scrolling to enjoy all of today’s inspiration!
Today’s video is from me (Heather Nichols) and I am sharing a set of wedding cards and tags that I created with the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit. Watch the video below:
In the video, I show how I stenciled the eucalyptus with the Modern Eucalyptus Layering Stencil set using Mint Julep, Spearmint, Poblano Pepper, and Avocado inks along with a layer of Happy Medium – Gold Glitter to add sparkle. The eucalyptus pieces are cut out with the coordinating dies and I added them to frames that are created with the Gemstone Thin Frame Cutting Plate die cut from gold foil cardstock.
I created larger frames for the cards and smaller frames to add to tags. The Toffee cardstock backgrounds are stamped with the Linen Background stamp with Sugar Cube ink and I added splatters to add to the rustic, textured effect. The sentiments from the Scripted Sentiments stamp set are stamped into the center of the frames using Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink.
Check out the list below for all of the supplies that I used on my cards and tags:
Here is more inspiration from a few members of the TE Creative Team created with the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit:
Emily Mydlowski brought lots of color into this card that she created with the Modern Eucalyptus Cardmaking Kit! The circle eucalyptus frame design from the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus is foiled in gold and the color is added with the coordinating stencils using Lollipop, Lemon Meringue, and Cookie Monster inks. The ‘happiest birthday wishes’ sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments stamp set is stamped into the center of the frame with Oreo Ink and I love the extra touch of color and sparkle that Emily added around the wreath with Bits & Pieces – Rainbow Rhinestones!
This card by Noriko Fairchild could be used for a wedding, anniversary, or expressing your love to someone special anytime of the year! She foiled a few of the eucalyptus gemstone circle frame panels from the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus set in gold. On one of the panels, she added color to the eucalyptus with the coordinating stencils and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. Then she added them to the other foiled panel over the corresponding foiled eucalyptus with foam adhesive to add dimension. Take a closer look at the background and you’ll notice a subtle texture that Noriko added with the Wood Plank Background stamp using Sea Salt ink.
Jill Hawkins created a colorful wreath for this birthday card that has a definite rustic farmhouse feel! The wreath is stenciled with Rose Water, Banana Cream Pie, Mint Julep, and Salt Water Taffy inks and Jill used enough of the eucalyptus to create a whole circular wreath design. The wreath is set onto a background stamped with the Shiplap Background stamp using Oyster ink on Sugar Cube Cardstock.. The final touch is a frame cut out from Mint Julep cardstock from the Gemstone Thin Frame Cutting Plate die.
Melody Rupple created this lovely card to send a note to a loved one with one of the Foil It – Modern Eucalyptus panels. The panel is foiled in gold and color is added to the leaves with Mint Julep, Cilantro, and Sweet Basil inks. The background of the card is stenciled using the Criss-Cross stencil using Cilantro ink on Cilantro cardstock for a tone on tone effect. After stamping the sentiment in the center of the frame, Melody added a few Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops to add extra dimension and shine.
