And now for my party projects! I started by creating the invitation. Since we’re going to be sending out quite a few of these I wanted to keep it pretty simple:
My starting point for the invitation was the 5″ x 7″ base. I decided on 5×7 because matching envelopes are easy to find and the size works perfectly for incorporating the party details with the RSVP A la Carte stamp. I die cut the Eventful Border die and placed it across the top of the page. I punched out a 1.5″ circle from masking paper and laid it onto the background of my Sugar Cube cardstock. Then I sponged around the moon with Colorbox Tangerine chalk ink to create the glowing sky. After removing the circle mask, the moon remained white.
Then I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Build a Scene Halloween collection to fit the remainder of the bottom of my project. I cut the top off with the Build a Scene Rolling Hills die. The sentiment from Eventful – Halloween is embossed with white embossing powder. Then I stamped the lines for the party details with the RSVP stamp. Oh… and I can’t forget the cute sequins from our Build a Scene Halloween sequins bottle. I used a ghost and a two bat sequins in my scene.
And what’s a party without a favor? Is this Haunted House stinkin’ cute or what!? I’ll admit, I probably won’t be making one of these for everyone at the party, but they could make cute little candy containers with mini scoops or I could make a small haunted house village for the mantel. OR they’d definitely be do-able for our girls to give away to their friends (they’re little so they don’t have that many friends yet! LOL).
In order to create this sack I started with the Sack it to You base cut from Oreo cardstock. Then I decorated the house with various die cut from the Build a Scene Halloween paper pack and coordinating cardstock. It’s hard to see in the photo, but one of my favorite parts of this project is the little ghost popping out from the chimney! Here’s a look at both of my party projects together:
So there you have it for our last day of sneak peeks! All of the products you’ve seen during the last three days will be released tomorrow at 7am PST. The talented gals from our creative team have even more fabulous inspiration to share with you so make sure you stop by their blogs and leave ’em some love too!
