Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #22

Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! I’m so excited to show you my cupcake creation this Friday! You might recognize the sketch this week from the Love Birds card I showed you a couple days ago. I’ve been creating a lot of awnings lately so that’s what inspired this sketch. I used a cupcake from the Paper Salon Invitation Builder set and masked the cupcakes in order to stack them on top of each other. I colored them with Copic markers, added rhinestones, Stickles, and Stardust gelly roll pen… all the sparkliest things! Then I added a transparency layer over the top to make it look more like the window of a cupcake shoppe! The Happy Cupcake Day sentiment is from My Favorite Things Icing on the Cake set. The patterned paper is My Mind’s Eye and the ribbon is May Arts. This week’s Featured Cupcake Sampler is Sharon Harnist from Paperfections! She
