Gee Thanks, Friend!
Last night was VSN (virtual stamp night) tailgate party on Splitcoaststampers! In the past I have participated in *all* challenges on VSN nights but I only had time to do one challenge last night which was to use transparency on a card (view challenge here). I had never stamped on transparency before (that I can remember…*rolleyes*) so that’s where this card started. I stamped Simply Said in black stazon and then adhered the transparency to the card front with black brads as flower centers. I got these cute little chipboard monograms at Joann’s a while ago and decided to try them out. I first painted it with Making Memories acrylic paint in blue reef (which just happens to match SU! Ballet Blue perfectly!). After it dried I painted it with sparkle glaze that I got at Walmart… added a few finishing touches and tah-dah! Here’s the finished card. Oh… and this is just too funny… you can see the reflection of the apartment building behind me in the transparency. Ooopsie… LOL!
