I’m a horrible friend!
I’ve been so busy lately I forgot my best friend’s birthday… I feel awful! I made this card for her and hopefully it (plus a little gift package) will make up for it! I got the color combo from the color wheel. The colors are Taken With Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal, and Certainly Celery. I don’t often grab for Taken With Teal so I wanted to try something outside the normal comfort zone. I punched out all those little squares and glued them to the teal strip… that was time consuming, but I like the outcome. I colored the purses from First in Fashion with markers, added some stardust Stickles, little rhinestones, and doodling. They are all popped up on dimensionals. The card base is stamped with the Dotted background and the celery polka dot ribbon is from Michael’s. I added the little shoe charm with silver cording. These little shoe charms are hard for me to part with because they’re just too cute… and I suffer from a disease called hoarding. 🙂 And there’s rarely a card that can get away from me without a little faux stitching on it!
