I was browsing the scrapbook store the other day when they were having a sale… the whole store was 40% off. OK…OK… I wasn’t browsing… it was packed and everybody was rushing to be the first to get all the good stuff at this amazing discount… so I joined in that fun game! LOL! I came across this line of paper (Signature by My Mind’s Eye). I hadn’t seen it before so I grabbed a few sheets and this sentiment caught my attention. First, it made me think of what I’m doing here on my blog. Basically living my life out loud for the whole world to read. Secondly, it reminded me of my faith. How my actions speak louder than words and I need to be living out the words that are written on my heart, not just spouting them from my mouth (not that I’m a big spouter… I’m relatively shy and softspoken… although some may disagree! LOL!). I don’t think I’ll be able to part with this card. I think I’ll display it in my stamping space as a daily reminder of how I want to live my life. The card came together very easily although I couldn’t get a very good picture of it so imagine it about 5 times prettier IRL. haha. The ribbon is the Cranberry Crisp stitched ribbon from Stampin’ Up which is tied through a pewter spiral clip. I used the Rough Texture wheel on the card base. Thanks for looking!

P.S. As cupcake day approaches, I want to say thanks again to everyone who has sent me cupcake images. I will be doing the drawing for the ribbon giveaway as promised a week from Friday. So if you have cupcake images you’d like to send me and get your name in the drawing for a chance at the ribbon giveaway, I must have them in my hot little hands by next Thursday.
