Good Morning! Hope you all had a great weekend! We had a great time at the Lakers game on Friday night! I think we were the only 4 people in the place who were rooting for the Pistons…makes for some interesting “conversations”! Unfortunately our camera was being a stinker and I didn’t get any pictures. *sad face* I guess it’s finally time to buck up and spend the money for a new camera. I was at a stamp convention this weekend and a vendor was selling wood blocks so I was able to purchase 3 separate wood blocks for my Festive Favorites set. I like it much better mounted separately! I stamped the Christmas trees and colored them with Prismacolor pencils. Then I punched out the trees with my square punch and mounted them on Thyme and Cranberry papers. I think it gives an interesting look with the image broken up. Then I added liquid applique for snow and the brads along both sides. The background paper is from the Stampin’ Up Holiday Thyme designer pack. The ribbon is Cranberry stitched and the sentiment is from Many Merry Messages. I’m hoping to be able to play with some of my new stuff tonight!!
