Rubber Romance Dog Walker
My class went really well last night! It’s always so fun when the ladies enjoy the projects! One of the cards we made was a shaker card and they were really impressed. And when it was finished they were so proud of themselves. And the best part…I treated myself to a vanilla Frosty at Wendy’s when the class was over. YUM! When I got home I was really tired, but I’ve been waiting to use these new stamps that I got at the convention last weekend and I just couldn’t wait any longer! These images are from Rubber Romance. They come mounted or unmounted and you can look at their collection here. I got a ton of these (unmounted so I could buy more) so you can plan on seeing alot of Rubber Romance in the future. The rubber is very deeply etched and the images come out crisp and clear. I first stamped the girl on textured vanilla cardstock. Then I used paper piecing from the new Crate Paper Avenue Collection to do her pants and hat. Then I masked the top half of the girl and stamped the city scene in the background. The sky and grass are colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I added the organdy ribbon at the top with a rhinestone to hold it in place. The sentiment is printed from the computer and punched out with the Stampin’ Up oval punches. And the sentiment just wouldn’t have been complete without a couple more rhinestones. Thanks for looking!
