Bright & Cheery
A little something bright and cheerful for today! I’ve been wanting to experiment with simple designs and I think this fits the bill. The color combination was inspired by the American Crafts polka dot paper. I stamped the flower from Big Pieces in Ruby Red, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie and added a little rhinestone brad to the center of each. The “friendship in bloom” sentiment is from The Angel Company. A few pierces to outline the image and some American Crafts ribbon and voila! 🙂 Just in case you’re all wondering, Sam and I had great time at the big Joann’s! I was a tad disappointed in their Cuttlebug selection, but I still ended up getting a couple embossing templates. Those things are soooo cool! No more dragging out the lightbox for me! I really hope they come out with more designs very soon. I also had a productive weekend of creating for contests, publications, and design team submissions. Here’s hoping something works out because so far I’m a bust… but I’m not giving up just yet! Hope you have a wonderful day!
