Before & After…
YAY! I figured out my computer problems… at least for the time-being. I didn’t have time to mess with it this morning before I had to go to work and I’m still not sure why the memory card isn’t working when it’s inserted directly into the computer. Like I said earlier, it worked when I did it yesterday. When I got home from work tonight I hooked up the USB cable and loaded the pictures onto the computer that way. The good news… there is no virus and no need for repairs! For that I am extremely grateful! I picked up the Jiffy Pop stove top popcorn at the Target $1 Spot and thought it would be the perfect little gift for our friends and neighbors. Jon and I are going to hang them on their doorknobs when it gets a little closer to Christmas. The sentiment “Just Poppin’ By With A Holiday Hi!” was printed from the computer using the following fonts: Castellar, CK Bella, and 2Peas Crazy Pooch. I cut around it with the largest circle in my Creative Memories cutting system. There’s still a tiny gap but I figured the small gap would look better than a slightly larger hand-cut circle. I taped it on the front with double sided tape. On my cards I use something with much more holding power like Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue, but there’s really no need for that kind of stickiness with these. And I believe there are directions on the front so I wanted them to be able to peel the topper off rather easily. I stamped the cover with Snowflakes in Green Galore, Glorious Green, and Real Red. I added a small metal-edge tag and some ribbon to the handle as the finishing touches. Now if I can just get the rest of them finished before Christmas! LOL!
