Some exciting news!
I’m on the design team for My Favorite Things! And I’ve got some great company with me! Click here to check out the rest of the design team. Kim (the owner of MFT) wrote each of our bios… she is just too sweet! I made this card using the brand spankin’ new You Take the Cake set. This patterned paper from American Crafts looked party-like to me. American Crafts papers are cardstock weight… solid on one side and patterned on the other. I love being able to use the patterned paper as my card base and still be able to write on the inside. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I covered the polka dots and parts of the cake with Crystal Stickles. The image is surrounded with photo corners and rhinestones for some extra pop. The polka dot organdy ribbon is from StarLitStudio. This birthday card is heading out to a special friend today. Happy Birthday, Sam! I miss you!
