Stamping Fun Challenge
My friend Jami sent out images from the set Stamping Fun for Everyone to several different stampers. She is sad to see the set retire after just one year in the catalog so she passed around some images to see what others would do with them. Thanks for the fun challenge, Jami! This probably isn’t a set I would purchase for myself, but I really enjoyed playing with a few images! The card base is cut to fit in a 3 5/8″ x 6 1/2″ envelope. I don’t know what got into me, but I bought 5 boxes of envelopes this size so you’ll probably be seeing this card size a lot! The patterned paper is from a DCWV paper slab. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I used silver paint pen to color the scissors in her pocket. The book is covered with Crystal Stickles and I created a yellow glow around it using the Prismas. I sponged around the image with chocolate chip ink. I cut the sentiment out with my Creative Memories circle cutting system. The photo turns and big brown brads are from Joann’s and the ribbon is from StarLitStudio. You can check out more cards from Jami’s Challenge HERE. You’ll see cards by Anna Wight (SweetMissDaisy), Jen Del Muro (Genie1314), Cambria Turnbow (Cambria), Valerie Stangle (11Valerie11), Sharon Harnist (StamperSharon), and Lindsey Botkin (Jacksonbelle)! Hope you have a great day!
