Long Overdue
I finally got some stamping done last night! And it was purely for fun… no agenda! I got to use whatever colors, papers, stamps, and accessories that I wanted! And let me tell you that my stamping space is an absolute disaster because of it! I just couldn’t seem to decide which direction I wanted to go with this card. So I dragged out everything I own trying to find just the right combination! LOL! I used Rose Red, Certainly Celery, and Bazzill Lemonade cardstock. The patterned paper is from a slab by DCWV. I also used patterned paper from the Palette O’ Prints by Stampin’ Up. I used PaperTrey’s Butterfly Kisses, Faux Ribbon for the sentiment, and Little Lady for the butterfly trail. I stamped the butterflies in white pigment ink onto vellum. Then I embossed them with Holographic embossing powder and cut them out. The solid butterflies are stamped in Rose Red with the vellum adhered over the top. I always adhere these butterflies with a dab of glue on the body so the wings can fold out and look like they’re fluttering by. The binder clip is by Making Memories and I tied on some ribbon from StarLitStudio. I punched out the sentiment with my new Extra Jumbo scalloped rectangle from PaperTrey. The scalloped circle is Giga size. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We’re BBQing with friends tonight and then the rest of the weekend looks to be pretty relaxing…maybe some more fun stamping is awaiting me! *grin*
