Love, Elsie!
I bought the most awesome paper from the Love, Elsie Roxie Collection! It’s called Math Class and it’s a 12×12 sheet filled with doodles. The doodles are fun and whimsical and you can even get some good card sentiments from the sheet! There’s Hello, Best Friends, I Love You, Dreaming of You, and lots more. I cut out the paper so that the Hello sentiment would land where I wanted it on this card. I had so much fun coloring in the doodles with Real Red, Pink Passion, Basic Black, and Copic Light Aqua markers. The chipboard star is from a Maya Road chipboard collection that I got at Eclectic Paperie. The Maya Road chipboard is on sale right now so check out the other fun shapes you can get at a great price! I covered the star with Cool Caribbean and stamped it with the Weave backgrounder from CHF. I popped up the chipboard star with dimensionals onto Real Red paper, stamped the A Muse You Rock sentiment inside, and stitched underneath it. Each point of the star is embellished with Adorn It Jewel Droplets. These aren’t just any old rhinestones though! They’re like little bubbles, all smooth and sparkly! I usually hoard them, but this card was calling out for them! 🙂 The card base is also stamped with the Weave backgrounder, but you can hardly see it. I’ve found that red on red is so hard to pick up in a photo. I wonder why that is?? The black and white polka dot organdy is from StarLitStudio. Thanks for stopping by today!
