You Float my Boat!!
This adorable stamp set floats my boat! *grin* My new catalog order was waiting on the doorstep when I got home from work last night! I tore open the box and inspected all the designer paper and ribbon first and then I got to work mounting the sets. Several sets later and I’ve got a blister on my thumb. No matter though because I have new stamps!! I knew I wanted to play with this set first. I’m not a big fan of Loads of Love, but Boatloads of Love is so cute! I stamped the image in Palette Noir ink and colored it with aquapainter and Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Real Red, and So Saffron ink. The card base is stamped with the Flannel background. I stitched up the sides of the image with hemp twine, cut out the cloud puffs and popped them up with dimensionals, and added Crystal Stickles to the clouds and boat. I extended the Word Window punch for the sentiment and the ribbon is the new double-stitched SU ribbon that comes in each of the new In Colors. Love this ribbon!! I bought Blue Bayou and Wild Wasabi to start, but I will definitely be getting more colors! Thanks for stopping by today! Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow with more new catty creations!
