Let the Countdown Begin!!
My Favorite Things is releasing four new stamp sets on August 1st! I’ll be doing a countdown from now until the release using one new set each day. You won’t want to miss out on Tuesday as Jen Del Muro and I team up again for another trivia game and MFT giveaway! Today I am featuring LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS! This stamp set reminded me so much of my dad. Doesn’t it seem like every dad has one of those plush, velvety, brown recliners from the 70’s? You know… the ones that are super ugly, but just too comfortable to get rid of!? LOL! I tried to recreate my dad’s recliner for these ATC’s. First, I colored the image with a combination of Copic and Prismacolor markers. Then I used Caramel Latte Fun Flock to get the fuzzy, velvety feel to the recliner. Fun flock is making a comeback and it’s super fun and easy to use! I applied glue to the recliner with the Quickie Glue Pen and pressed the flock on top. It needs a little time to dry, but then it stays put! The patterned paper is by My Mind’s Eye. The sentiment is from A Muse. I hope you enjoy the coundown over the next few days!
