Warm Winter Wishes

I’ve wanted to do a palm tree Christmas card since we celebrated our first Christmas in California. You know… just to rub in the warm winter temperatures to our freezing friends and family back in the Midwest. *teehee* This will be our third Christmas in California and I finally found the perfect image! It’s from Just Johanna! I colored the image with Copics and added Stampendous dot sparklers in a bunch of different colors as the “Christmas tree” lights. The satin ribbon is May Arts from StarLitStudio and the patterned paper is Basic Grey Nestled from the Figgy Pudding Collection. I’ll be finishing up forty of these today at my stamping date… in between eating and chatting! You know that’s the real purpose of our gathering, right? It’s short and sweet Saturday… gotta run! Not nice at all! Your comment to us crazy folks living in snow infested turndras couldn’t have come at a better time. We suffered all weekend through snow and ice while you are soaking up the sun and palm trees! Enjoy it! Your card really is cute!!!

Love it! I’m totally getting these stamps for next year. I’ve been looking a warm weather Christmas stamp and this is perfect as we live in Hawaii.

Love it! We have palm trees here, but we’re still freezing! I guess it’s because we are surrounding by the Middle Atlas Mountains which are all covered in snow!

Love these, i will be pulling out the snowflakes for my Christmas cards and you have the palm trees!
Figgy Pudding, it’s a good thing. I have a 7 gysies bracelet that i ordered to fill with Figgy paper.

Love your tv tradition. Reminds me of when our children were little. During the school year, Saturday nite was pizza nite and it was the only nite we’d eat dinner in front of the tv. Once our son even turned down a dinner invitation from a friend because he didn’t want to miss “our” nite! Boy, thanks for bringing back that memory! And have a great time in the pumpkin patch!
