Secret Admirer
As I was searching for something to post today I realized that I have a TON of cards that I’ve never posted on my blog. I make them, photograph them, and then they seem to disappear from my mind as I move on to the next project. But they always come to my rescue on days like these when I can’t show any of the projects I’ve been working so hard on! This is another Valentine’s Day card I made for Stampendous. I used the Classic Hearts image paired with the Secret Admirer sentiment and a background stamp from the Amore Brackets acrylic set. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I cut out the hearts, popped them up on dimensionals, and covered them with Crystal Stickles. The ribbon is American Crafts and the patterned paper is by KI Memories. It has a beautiful shimmery look that I couldn’t seem to capture in the photo. So… Valentine’s Day is a week from tomorrow! Do you have any special plans? Jon and I usually stay home and order carry out. I hate fighting the crowds and would rather do a nice dinner out when the rest of the world isn’t also having a nice dinner out. LOL! We usually exchange a small gift and cards. I always tell him that his words mean more to me than anything he could buy (which is good since the budget is tight! lol). If you have any Valentine’s Day traditions, I’d love to hear them! Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
