Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!!
When I was in kindergarten I always looked forward to Show and Tell at school. I still remember sharing my Strawberry Shortcake backpack that I received as a Christmas gift. Today I’m bringing back all those memories with “Show and Tell” about my new shoes! I must preface this by saying that I don’t shop for shoes very often. I try to make do with what I have (which is probably still more than one person really needs), but every once in a while I have this urge to buy something new and fun. I was completely out of the loop on what’s fashionable. So I did a little reading on the latest shoe fashions and took my younger sister along to make sure I didn’t purchase anything ugly. LOL! I suppose that’s really a matter of opinion though! The first pair is a little black lacey number by Liz Claiborne. I don’t wear anything little, black, and lacey on any other part of my body so I had to have these! I love the pretty satin bows and the peek-a-boo toe. The second is Steve Madden Luxe red patent leather with an eyelet design and another peek-a-boo toe. These don’t have a super high heel and they’re very comfortable! I’ve never had red shoes before and I love having the option of something other than black or brown. Now I just need more red tops to match! I love it when shoe shopping requires new clothing to match the new shoes! *wink* And the last pair are these MIA slingbacks with a peek-a-boo toe. Do you notice a pattern in all the shoes that I bought? They all have peek-a-boo toes! I am absolutely in love with this pair of shoes! I love the fun pattern and this is one of my favorite shades of green. I already have a few tops that will match too…bonus!! And they’re casual for the weekends, but dressy enough for the office. I also got a pair of Steve Madden boots in a pretty shade of brown/copper and a pair of Adidas tennis shoes. Thanks for tuning in for my shoe show and tell! Stay tuned tomorrow for Cupcake Friday and a challenge! Oh… and have you been watching Martha Stewart this week? It’s cupcake week… a good thing! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
