Hats Off to the Graduate
Graduation is coming soon for many students (you’re almost there, Rachel!!). My dad graduates from Seminary this year as well so I know we have at least one graduation party to attend this spring. I remember when I graduated from high school and college and the only thing I wanted was money! So I designed these money holder cards to put in the store this year. Click here to purchase this card or one of the other graduation cards at Taylored Expressions. I used Apple Cider (I think that’s the name) designer paper from Stampin’ Up. The hats off image is from a Stampin’ Up hostess set called Event Full. The flaps of the card are adhered around the back to make the card long enough to hold money. I used the 3/4″ and 1″ circle punches to create the closure. The circles are adhered together with an eyelet and then I used a piece of 1/8″ foam tape to stick the circles to the card front. The piece of hemp is adhered underneath the foam tape and then wrapped alternating back and forth between the circles to hold the card closed. You can see on the open view of the card that I created a pouch on the inside to hold your cash or check. You can write your message on the top flap, on the side pouch, or insert a note into the pouch with the money. The finished card fits in a #6 3/4 envelope. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Stay tuned tomorrow for a special Papertrey Ink post!
