The Love of my Life
Four years ago today, Jon and I recited our vows in front of our closest friends and family at a small church in Sioux City, Iowa. I remember the day like it was yesterday! I remember crying in the morning because it was raining and we wouldn’t be able to take any outdoor pictures. I remember crying because my bouquet was too purple. And I remember crying as I walked down the aisle looking straight into the eyes of the man who would love me for the rest of my life. I feel so blessed to have him in my life and I hope that 20 years from now our love for each other will have grown 20 times greater. On our anniversary last year, I shared our love story. If you missed it… click here. We’re celebrating our anniversary with Dodger Dogs (hotdogs) at the Dodgers vs. Cubs game tomorrow night. ๐ I sat down to make an anniversary card last night and I was feeling mojo-less. What do you do when you’re out of mojo? Head over to Julee’s blog for a Mojo Monday sketch. I picked this one out from a couple weeks ago. I knew I wanted to use this image and sentiment from A Muse because Jon is truly my “best bunny.” I love being able to use lots of coordinating patterns on one card. The patterned paper is from the Tres Jolie Collection by My Mind’s Eye. I masked the bunnies and airbrushed the image panel with Copic marker. The bunny tails are embellished with rhinestones. I also wanted to try using my newest embellishments… Bella’s Dots from Stamping Bella. The blue dotted border is made with the small size of these cute little dots. They were easy to adhere with Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue. The ribbon is double-faced satin by May Arts from StarLitStudio. Thanks for stopping by today! Stay tuned tomorrow for Cupcake Friday!
