Thank You Notes for Dad
A few weeks ago I showed you this graduation card that I made for my dad when he graduated from Seminary. He liked the card so much that he asked me to make some monogrammed thank you notes to send to friends and family who helped him celebrate the special occasion. He wanted something really simple and not too “girly” so I picked up these pre-printed notecards in the $1.00 spot at Michael’s. I used my Just Rite monogram stamper and a Spellbinders circle die to make these super quick and easy. I used the font
from the Special Occasions kit and paired it with the Times New Roman font from the Monogram Stamper Kit. The thank you border uses the Small Letter Set. I also decided to include a picture of my mom and dad on gradution day. They’re such a cute couple! I may be a bit biased, but I think I have the best parents ever! 🙂 When my dad left his job of 27 years to pursue a Seminary education, most people wondered if he had gone crazy. I’m so proud of him for following God’s calling and taking the road less traveled. I know the journey wasn’t easy and it was so rewarding to watch him walk across that stage. YAY, Dad! That’s it from me today… thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Tomorrow morning I’ll be on my way to Arizona to visit Whitney, but I hope to have a couple posts scheduled while I’m away…definitely wouldn’t miss Cupcake Friday!
P.S. Did anyone watch Hell’s Kitchen last night? Who do you want to win? Who do you think will win? I’d love to see Petrozza win, but I have this sneaking suspicion that it will be Christina. I’m already planning to ask Jon to take me to Gordon’s new restauarant, London West Hollywood when it opens! We might have to save money for a whole year in order to afford it, but it would be worth it! LOL!
