Sick Kitty
Our kitty is sick. I call him a kitty, but he’s definitely full-grown… probably a little over 10 years old. He hasn’t eaten anything for three days and he won’t move from under the bed. We took him to the vet yesterday where they drew blood to do some tests and they’re supposed to get back to us this afternoon. I’m so worried about this silly cat. Gosh… if I’m this worried about our cat, I can’t imagine what it would be like having children! Whenever I’m stressed I find it therapeutic to color. I’m really not picky about the coloring medium, but Copic markers tend to have the greatest calming effect. 🙂 So I decided to grab my markers and one of my new Elzybells images for a little relaxation last night. After coloring the image, I added Stardust Stickles and Glossy Accents for embellishment. I took my cues from the SEI patterned paper when I started designing the card. I cut and embossed the image with a Spellbinders Classic Square Nestabilities die. Then I jumped up two nestabilities for the image layer in order to allow for the circle punches inside each scallop (just like in the patterned paper). The Pumpkin Twill is from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sentiment from Papertrey’s Mixed Messages onto a Cuttlebug cutout with VersaMagic Jumbo Java ink.
