New Products at Taylored Expressions!
Part of the reason I’m so behind is because I’ve been getting daily shipments of products that I ordered at CHA. All of the items need to be counted into inventory, uploaded to the website with descriptions, and organized in the warehouse (a.k.a. our garage…lol). It sounds like a rather easy process, but it takes hours upon hours! But now most of it is done and I’m so excited to share some of the new things you can now purchase at Taylored Expressions:
Tsukineko Memento Ink
The Memento inks are fast-drying and fade resistant with exceptional coverage. They come in 24 fresh color options. The Dew Drops are a great way to try these inks without making a huge investment. Why are the Memento inks my favorite? Because I can use my Copic markers without the feathering/bleeding you experience with many other brands of ink… and no heat-setting required!
Ribbon Ring
I showed you pictures of the Ribbon Ring when I returned from CHA! It was one of my favorite storage options that I found while I was there. It will be perfect for keeping all those little snippets of ribbons well-organized and in sight while you’re creating. The Starter Set comes with a 2″ ring, 30 ribbon tags, and 15 inventory dots. A 2″ ring will hold about 60 ribbon tags comfortably. Each ribbon tag holds 3+ snippets of ribbon which means one Starter Set will hold at least 180 snippets of ribbon! And for those “ribbon obssessed” among us, you can purchase additional ribbon tags and 3″ rings to hold your collection.Glitter
Mmmmm… Glitter! Brought to you in special Taylored Expressions packaging are 10 yummy colors of super-fine glittery goodness! You’ll receive 1/2 oz. of glitter in a delightful plastic jar. The color name is printed on the top of the jar to make it easy to choose your selection from the drawer. My top three glitter picks: Bronze Splendor (a yummy chocolate brown), Raspberry Soda (pictured here), and Starfire (a sparkly white necessity). Liquid Pearls & Stickles
Instead of offering all of the colors, I chose a few of my favorite Liquid Pearls and Stickles to offer at Taylored Expressions. I love dotting around the outside of images with Liquid Pearls and covering my cupcake frosting with Stickles. Carla Craft Binding System
One of the cool new tools I saw at CHA, the Carla Craft Binding System. This binding system is incredibly lightweight, portable, easy to use, and the best part… inexpensive! It makes journals, notepads, calendars, etc. such a cinch! I put together this video to show you how easy it is to use:
The binding system will punch 5 sheets of text weight paper and 2-3 sheets of cardstock at one time. It will also punch lightweight cardboard for your front and back covers. You can create any size book you wish, up to 12″ long. The 9mm coils will fit approximately 50-60 sheets of text weight paper plus a front and back cover. The 18mm coils will fit approximately 100-120 sheets of text weight paper plus a front and back cover. This portable, easy to use system includes the binding guide and binding punch and retails for just $24.95. Choose from among 10 colors of sturdy coils sold in boxes of 3 – 12″ lengths for $4.95 each.
New Die Cuts
I found some super cute new die cuts that I just *had* to take home. I fell in love with the Cupcake Invitation that I used for the make and take at the JustRite booth so I decided to order it from Accucut for all of us to enjoy. Other new die cuts include the Square Self-Closing Box and the A2 Gift Card Holder. Back in stock: Pumpkin, Raspberry, Apricot, Baby Pink, and Cloud Blue twill.
On sale: Alterable Acrylic Albums – 40% off.
Stay tuned for Cupcake Friday and the monthly Bible Verse Challenge. Happy Shopping!
