Just another Manic Monday…
Yesterday was crazy! When I got to work the property manager at our offsite storage facility called to say that the alarm was going off in our storage suite. So I drove there to investigate the issue. I called the alarm company to see what they could do to help me get it shut off. The ringing noise was so loud in the background while I was trying to talk to the woman from the alarm company so I stepped outside the suite so I could hear her better. Click…. uh oh… the handle of the door was still locked with all of my possessions inside. My purse, my car keys, the keys to the storage unit, all of the pertinent info for the alarm company…locked inside the suite. Long story short…4 hours, 1 locksmith, and $50 later I was back in the suite and able to call the alarm company again to help me get it turned off. As I told people this story yesterday, the common response was, “Don’t worry… it happens to everyone.” So that leads me to wonder… What is your worst “locking yourself out” story? Did you leave your car running with the keys in it? My mom has done that before! LOL. Or… if you’ve never locked yourself out of anything I want to know! You’ll get a lifetime gold star for that one! Aside from those four hours I really did have a pretty good day. Needless to say, I didn’t get the cupcake challenge announcement posted yesterday. The Featured Cupcake Sampler this week will be Noelle. I loved the beautiful bouquet card she created using the sketch. It’s so different from my normal bold style, but is certainly caught my attention! You can check out her beautiful card here! And the random winner of the Stampendous chipboard clipboards is Lynn Put! Lynn’s card is absolutely adorable as well… you can check it out here! Lynn, email me with your address and I’ll get these sent out to you! I had some time over the weekend to make a bunch of cards for the website. This is one of the designs posted there and you can check out many of the other new designs here. For this card I decided to use my new Chichiboulie, Matilda Muffinbread from Stamping Bella paired with some flower swirly paper SEI patterned paper. The swirls on the card base are from The Angel Company and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink’s Limitless Labels. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
