Stamp Studio Doorhanger
Sorry I disappeared yesterday! My girlfriends and I went out on Tuesday night to celebrate JulieAnn’s engagement. We went to Twin Palms in Pasadena and it was so good! There was live jazz music, half price appetizers, and scrumptious martinis… like candy in a glass! Anyhow, I didn’t get a chance to make anything to post yesterday. Today I grabbed more JustRite goodies to create this door hanging for my stamp studio. A few days ago I showed you how I altered the packaging of the new JustRite stamps to hold a set of personalized cards. I decided to take the cover from another one of those boxes and make it into a door hanging. Like I’ve said before, I love to re-purpose product packaging! I used the new
Harmony Classic Oval II (2 1/4″ x 3 1/16″) with the “Create” designer center and interchangeable border. The JustRite oval stamper was designed to work perfectly with the Spellbinders oval dies so I used those to cut out and mount the sentiment. The cardstock is Stardream Fairway and Stardream Flame along with Chatterbox Flutter patterned paper from the Happy Day Collection. I also added some mini Primas, a row of pearls down the butterfly center, Crystal Stickles, and Pumpkin twill. I used the Crop-a-Dile to punch two holes in the top of the box to make the twill hanger. All of the new JustRite goodies will be available for purchase at Taylored Expressions in mid-September… I can hardly wait! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful day! See you here tomorrow for Cupcake Friday!
