Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Once again I had so much fun looking at all of your cupcake challenge creations. Each week you make my job of choosing the Featured Cupcake Sampler so difficult! Did you see this card that Nancy Morgan created? It was among my favorites this week and ultimately won me over with the bright colors and all the Dew Drop embellishments. So Nancy will be the Featured Cupcake Sampler this Friday! I love gaining inspiration from all the sketches out there so I decided to try my hand at the sketch for the Cut It Up contest. I’ve had this image from Stamping Bella for a while now and it has been begging to be inked. The cardstock is Stardream Azalea, Fairway, and Flame… my three current favorites. I stamped the background with Papertrey’s Polka Dot Basics. I had a hard time coming up with a sentiment to fit with this image. Since cute lingerie and clean laundry both make me happy I decided on the sentiment “happy day”. *grin* The happy part of the sentiment is from Papertrey’s original Paper Tray set and the day circle sentiment is from Stampin’ Up’s Think Big set. Dawn made this gorgeous creation with one of my favorite Stampin’ Up images. The white sponging gives the card such a soft look and I love the scored background.
