Live, Love, Laugh
Good morning! Thank you all for your kind words about my first blog banner attempt. It was fun, but probably won’t be happening very often considering the amount of time it took me! LOL! I also had some time to make a few cards this weekend. I’ve had some of the Just Rite pre-inked stampers sitting in a box just waiting for the perfect project. I pulled out Live, Love, and Laugh from the Romance small pre-inked word set and stamped them repeatedly on the pink layer. Because these stamps are pre-inked it was really quick and easy to create my own patterned paper. And because they are so compact, it was also easy to line them up straight! ETA: JustRite is currently hosting a pre-inked word contest! You have until October 20th to make any project using their pre-inked stampers for a chance to win some great JustRite prizes! You’ll find all the contest details here! I still have a few Bella stamps that haven’t seen enough love and Elizabella is one of them. I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers. Her shopping bags are covered with Crystal Stickles. I used black polka dot grosgrain from Taylored Expressions and patterned paper from The Paper Trunk. The sentiment is from Amy R’s new Boutique Sentiments set. I stamped it onto a Cuttlebug cutout and tied the tag on with some silver cording. That’s about it for the card. Last night Jon and I went with several of our friends to see our favorite comedian, Brian Regan. This is the third time we’ve seen him perform and it never gets old! If you have the opportunity to see him live (or even purchase his comedy act on DVD), I would highly recommend it! My stomach will be aching for days from laughing so hard. His act is completely clean too… no dirty jokes or swearing! You can check out some clips on his website: Brian Regan. I’d be interested to know if any of you have seen a live performance before. We’ll have to compare our favorite Brian Regan jokes. ๐ Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
