I have a few of these fun
Gifts in a Jar recipe books. You know what I’m talking about? The ones with recipes for creating quick and easy gifts by layering a bunch of different ingredients inside a large jar. I love these recipe books and I always have the best intentions of pulling them out each Christmas. Unfortunately, if you’re anything like me during the holiday season it’s hard to find time to get out all of the ingredients, find a jar, measure it in, etc. I still like to give gifts with a handmade touch though so I was excited to find these layered cookie mixs already packaged up at Target. Of course they had an ugly sticker on the front of the jar which was removed immediately when I got home! lol. I replaced the sticker with some of my

Just Rite stamps that seem to be made for this gift! I used the Happy Holidays stamp from the
Christmas Stamp Ensemble on the lid of the jar. I cut it out with Spellbinders circle Nestabilities, added two silver brads, and a rhinestone to each spindle of the snowflake. Then I used the Christmas Cookies stamp from the
Baking Ensemble on one of the
Cream Tag Treats from TE. The sentiment from
Tag Treats is a teeny tiny white lie… the ingredients aren’t actually from
my kitchen, but the recipient will never know the difference. Unless, of course, they happen to read my blog post today! lol. The double-faced satin ribbon is from May Arts. In case you’re curious, the ingredients inside the jar are for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies and the instructions for baking are written on the back of the tag. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
