Stamp a Sweet Impression – Release Day!

Welcome to the Taylored Expressions release party! The day is finally here and I can’t wait to see what you all do with these images once you get them in your hot little hands! I want to start by giving you all the details on the sale and then the Baker’s Dozen Design Team and I have more sneak peeks to show you along with the traditional Cupcake Friday Sketch Challenge.

We usually offer an “I Want It All, I Want It First” deal for those customers who arrive first to the big release party. But during this release we decided to offer something for everyone with these special bundle deals available through Sunday:

You’ll notice the Perpetual Birthday Calendar is not included in the Calendar Bundle. Due to a last minute issue with our midwest manufacturer the perpetual birthday calendars will not be available to ship until approximately Saturday 1/10/09. We know you’re going to want this fantastic product ASAP so we are offering the following: The regular price of the perpetual calendars is $9.99 each, however, if you choose to add them to your order during the release party this weekend you will get them at the awesome special price of $7.99 (limit 2 per customer at the special price). And I can’t to forget to show you the Valentine Key Ingredients! The Key Ingredients will be sold separately from the stamp sets and will include coordinating cardstock, patterned paper, and embellishments… everything you need to make the perfect “batch” of cupcake cards. Are you all still with me? It’s a long one tonight! But now on to the fun stuff… more cuppie creations!

There’s one new stamp set that I haven’t featured in any of my samples yet! I designed the sentiments in A Year of Sweet Sentiments to coordinate with the Calendar Cuppies, so we can use them to make cards as well as calendar pages. I decided to use the May image from A Year of Sweets 2 for this week’s Cupcake Sketch Challenge. This sweet cupcake looks like she’s thinking about somebody so I paired it with the ‘thinking of you’ sentiment from A Year of Sweet Sentiments. I stamped the image several times in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Choice Snow White cardstock. The images are colored with Copic markers and I added a few mini Primas and pearls. I stamped a JustRite border (from the Special Occasions Deluxe Kit) onto each square and popped up the circle images on dimensionals inside the border. The punch that fits exactly inside

the JustRite borders is the Stampin’ Up 1 3/8″ circle. The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie and the cardstock is Prism Blush Red Light and Frosted Yellow. I’m so excited to introduce you to the Featured Cupcake Sampler this week! Carolina has won our SASI Top Chef competition, served as Our Friday Friend on the SASI blog, and now as the Featured Cupcake Sampler! Her beautiful Valentine card caught my eye last week and she’s created some more adorable eye candy for us this week! I love how she used different elements from the Sweet Celebration set to complete each of the circles! this weekend to be the Featured Cupcake Sampler next week. Your design and blog will be featured on my blog during Cupcake Friday. You’re not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got ’em why not use ’em!? You’re welcome to create something other than a card, just stick as closely to the sketch as possible and you’ll be eligible for the Featured Cupcake Sampler honors.
