Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #57

Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! Are you ready for another sketch challenge? I’ll tell you what I’m ready for… another weekend! My whole family (mom, dad, me, Jon, and my two sisters) have a getaway planned this weekend. We’re heading down to Del Mar beach (near San Diego). The weather is a little chilly for the beach this time of year, but at least it’s not supposed to rain this weekend! It will just be nice to get away for a few days. I decided to pull out the Sweet Celebration set to create a birthday party scene. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used my Stampamajig to stamp the sentiment one word on top of the other. The patterned paper is My Mind’s Eye from the Just Dreamy 2 collection. I used the .JPG)
Fiskars threading water punch on the side of my border, added some Stampin’ Up decorative brads, and Zva crystal swirls in the background. I also added a couple Tiny Twinkles to the party hats. And now I’m so excited to introduce you to our Featured Cupcake Sampler this week! Dana White caught my eye with her adorable “Let’s Hang Out” card last week and she’s created something special for us again this week. She used another sweet Bella image and I love all the little details she added like the piercing around each layer and the Tiny Twinkles on the outfit and hat!
