Somebirdy Loves You
Guess what!? I stamped for fun this weekend! Well, I should clarify that… all stamping is fun, but my stamping had no agenda this weekend. I got together with my friend Jami and we gabbed and stamped and even ate cupcakes! We both wanted to participate in our friend Lori’s Weekend Sketch Challenge so we printed out a copy of the sketch for both of us and we got to work. I borrowed this stamp from Jami’s collection and now I can’t remember who makes it… I think it’s from Magenta Stamps? Then Jami was kind enough to let me riffle through all of her patterned paper and use one of her prized possessions… Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie! I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers to match the colors in the patterned paper. I used the Stampin’ Up ticket corner punch and some orange brads to dress up the image. Then I used a little scrap of patterned paper to make the flag and covered one side with Cozy Felt Flowers and a red button. I’m also not sure where the sentiment came from either… that’s what I get for not using my own supplies! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful day!
